== About ==

The Obsidian Tower is a player-run organization based around the [[Dhe'nar]] culture of [[dark elf|dark elves]]. As a member of the [[Cooperative Houses of Elanthia]], its members have contributed to the creation of lore for the Dhe'nar and [[Khanshael]] cultures, some of which has been adopted and officially made canon. The Obsidian Tower itself is located in the [[Upper Trollfang]] outside of [[Wehnimer's Landing]].

== Current Officers ==

Leadership within the Obsidian Tower takes on two forms. The primary Officers are referred to as the Obsidian Council, which consists of five Dhe'nar and one Khanshael advisor. The Highlord leads the Obsidian Council and the entire Tower. The other four Dhe'nar Council members each represent the four traditional castes: Temple, Warlock, Warrior, and Worker. The Armsmaster represents the Khanshael of the Tower.

In addition to the Obsidian Council, two additional support Officers may be represented from among the general membership.

== How to Join ==

The Obsidian Tower is dedicated to recruiting and retaining active, contributing members who have a vested interest in the Dhe’nar culture and its affiliated cultures through quality roleplay. To get involved, seek out one of the current Tower members, join in on its weekly hunts, or attend one of its public events.

Some would later claim that the storms were particularly violent, that first half of Charlatos in the year 5120. That the icy winds, hail, and snow that swirled around within and came down from the Dragonsclaw Range(and in particular the harsh, craggy Sentoph Mountain) were especially virulent, seeming to almost contain sentience among themselves. One specific night is often recalled in the hushed tones in which such things are spoken. A night no colder than any other, but unusual for the fact that in the midst of the seasonal storms the bare faces of the fourth brother Sentoph were strangely calm for some period of hours.

The sharpest of sharp-eyed Eagles, if sitting on the bell tower of the Wehnimer's Landing Temple, might that night have even been able to pick out the massive Obsidian Tower that sat on Sentophs northern slope. The mana storm swirling around it as it always had and likely always would.

The sharpest of sharp-eared Owls, if nested in the eaves of the Raging Thrak Inn, might that night have been able to pick out the sounds of a thunder that came not from the ever-present mana storm, but from... under the ground?

Some days later a rumor spread around the streets of the city there on the shore of Darkstone Bay.

Among the Dhe'nar(those strange dark-skinned tribal elves that had migrated from beyond the Southron Wastes) a challenge had been issued. A Challenge approved by the Obsidian Council. The door to the Chamber of Fate had been opened and closed behind two, and when opened again the one known as Avaia(she who had always referred to herself as Lo'mah when asked, a Dhe'nari word meaning Priestess she was sometimes heard to explain) had emerged as only the second High Lady of the Dhe'nar of the North.

For some time after that there was occasionally seen flying high in the skies above Wehnimer's Landing an unusual sight. Unusual mostly for the fact that it was always seen alone, and seemed to circle the town for a number of hours and then head back south towards bare-boned old Sentoph.

Frontier Days takes place in the Landing. This year there will be featured events (below) from November 6 to 14th hosted by the player-run groups of Elanthia.

The shopping tents and wagons usually open the entire run of the Festival. Shops are traditionally located on N. Ring Road.

Merchants and Raffles are scheduled Nov 13 & 14th.

:She has a pair of small ivory bone rings in her left eyebrow, a pentagram tattoo on her forehead, a chain of intricate runes tattoo on her neck, a spider web tattoo on her wrist, a small black dagger tattoo on her wrist, a black widow tattoo on her finger, a Dhe'nari caste tattoo on her chest, a labyrinthine tracery of indistinct eldritch markings inked into every discernible portion of her skin, a black chain tattoo on her ankle, and a series of tiny rolaren rings set along the slender tips of her pointed ears.

:She is wearing a bone-trimmed fringed black head-scarf, a leather headband, a griffin feather-trimmed neckpouch, a plain silver dragon pendant, a deeply hooded dark elven-crafted robe edged in intricate patterns, an enruned midnight blue scarf, an elven leather wand harness slung over her shoulder, a deep green glaes spider charm, a small obsidian rose pin, a cowled arsenic-grey velvet tunic, a grey oilskin bandolier bound by a single metal ring over a dark grey crushed silk shirt, a glacial white smooth glaes armband, some ornate mithril arm greaves, a whorled urglaes bracelet, a dragon-etched silver bracelet, a cut-obsidian Dhe'nar band, a rune embroidered waist-sash, a mottled black enruned glaes censer, a weathered black leather satchel, an enruned mithril alloy flask, a rune-carved minotaur horn cylinder, some ash grey spidersilk trousers, a dusty thigh sheath, and a pair of vruul skin boots.

Some would later claim that the storms were particularly violent, that first half of Charlatos in the year 5120. That the icy winds, hail, and snow that swirled around within and came down from the Dragonsclaw Range(and in particular the harsh, craggy Sentoph Mountain) were especially virulent, seeming to almost contain sentience among themselves. One specific night is often recalled in the hushed tones in which such things are spoken. A night no colder than any other, but unusual for the fact that in the midst of the seasonal storms the bare faces of the fourth brother Sentoph were strangely calm for some period of hours.

The sharpest of sharp-eyed Eagles, if sitting on the bell tower of the Wehnimer's Landing Temple, might that night have even been able to pick out the massive Obsidian Tower that sat on Sentophs northern slope. The mana storm swirling around it as it always had and likely always would.

The sharpest of sharp-eared Owls, if nested in the eaves of the Raging Thrak Inn, might that night have been able to pick out the sounds of a thunder that came not from the ever-present mana storm, but from... under the ground?

Some days later a rumor spread around the streets of the city there on the shore of Darkstone Bay.

Among the Dhe'nar(those strange dark-skinned tribal elves that had migrated from beyond the Southron Wastes) a challenge had been issued. A Challenge approved by the Obsidian Council. The door to the Chamber of Fate had been opened and closed behind two, and when opened again the one known as Avaia(she who had always referred to herself as Lo'mah when asked, a Dhe'nari word meaning Priestess she was sometimes heard to explain) had emerged as only the second High Lady of the Dhe'nar of the North.

For some time after that there was occasionally seen flying high in the skies above Wehnimer's Landing an unusual sight. Unusual mostly for the fact that it was always seen alone, and seemed to circle the town for a number of hours and then head back south towards bare-boned old Sentoph.
