[[File:Helden hall.jpg|thumb|255x255px|''Strength, Honor, Loyalty'']]
'''Helden Hall''' is located off North Ring Road in [[Wehnimer's Landing]] and is a member of the [[Co-operative Houses of Elanthia]]. Helden Hall opened their gates on day 15 of the month Fashanos in the year 5097 (February 15, 1997).

==Credo==

Helden Hall is not about warriors, it is about warrior spirit. It's an important distinction, and borne out by our membership roster. While we do count many influential warriors past and present amongst our numbers, we also have Rangers, Sorcerers, Empaths, Mages and Bards. No one is turned away from Apprenticeship based on their profession path. Those in Helden are united by their spirit ~ unflagging and honorable, steadfast and strong.

Honor, Strength and Loyalty is our motto and our raison d'etre. Though expressing these things differently, all members strive to make the motto a part of their daily life. Our internalization of this concept helps us contribute to the Lands in a positive manner through our actions.

''~Hyoko Fujimoro''

==History==

In a small hamlet outside the city of Bergen lived two young Viking lovers named Ingrid and Bjorne. Their only cares in the world were their long ships and accompanying their clansmen on raids along the coast.

On one fateful trip, they met with a sudden squall that left their beloved long ship limping upon the raging sea. While working quickly to restore it for the journey home, a menacing ship of Krolvin slave merchants stumbled upon their foundering vessel. The battle was bloody and fierce, and all but the lovers were lost at sea, their beloved long ship left to sink to the murky depths.

They were immediately taken into captivity, and the Krolvin began to celebrate their victory. During the long sea voyage aboard the Krolvin slave ship, the lovers planned their escape. They waited until the revelry reached a fevered pitch and silently broke free of their bonds. Creeping across the deck, they hid until they saw all of the Krolvin were hopelessly drunk. Another bloody battle ensued, and this time the lovers were victorious. When they took over the ship, the found that not only was it in desperate need of repair, they were much closer to a strange and unknown town called Wehnimer's Landing. They decided that this place would have to do since they had no idea of the route the Krolvin took, and the ship was not long for the bottom of the sea.

Landing in this town was an experience. There were many who looked like them, tall as the trees and as strong as the mountains, but the way of life was very different from what they were used to. Raids were seldom done by large groups, and even then, only on beasts that lived nearby. They were looked down upon when they mentioned sacking the neighbors of their homeland. So, trying to fit in better, they found the location of a Krolvin encampment and began almost nightly raids on the ones who brought them to this strange new land.

They found they enjoyed their time in Wehnimer's Landing and after much debate decided that Vikings could settle down. Wanting to put down sturdy roots, they created a home for themselves and all warriors alike. A home that stands for something...a home for those who respect and follow the path of Honor...for those who understand Loyalty...and for those with Strength of mind and body. With the help of Lady Passion and Lord Metaboculous, the foundation was laid for Helden Hall. After almost two years of construction, Helden Hall opened their gates on day 15 of the month Fashanos in the year 5097 (February 15, 1997).
Beneath the shifting sands of the Sea of Fire and Southron Wastes, as well as the suffocating canopy of the southern jungles and elsewhere throughout Elanthia, a silent watcher lies in wait. The scrape of chitin against stone and the sharp whistle of a raised stinger descending are often the only warnings a traveler receives before encountering one of the more intimidating members of the arachnid world -- the scorpion. Scorpions have occupied the dark corners of Elanthia since the ancient ages, outlasting empires and surviving cataclysms that claimed far softer creatures.

Enjoy this New Lore Document, providing details about the [[The_Silent_Watch:_Scorpions_of_Elanthia|Scorpions of Elanthia]]

Created by GM Gyres, Thandiwe, Warlockes, and Xynwen, this document outlines the various cultures that interact with these dangerous animals.
'''Apiculture Jar'''

Designed by the Greengair forest gnomes, the apiculture jar will allow you to collect honey from any active beehive. The Greengair have imbued magic in the jar to purify and detoxify any honey collected, which means you can try out some more exotic honey types.

'''Features'''

Tier 1
Collect honey from any beehive for a sippable honey or a honeycomb--careful, it's a bit messy that way!

Tier 2
Customize the appearance of your honey jars and create beeswax that can alter the appearance of any foraged item.

Tier 3
Create honey that can be added to brewed tea or coffee. Beeswax can now be used to create mailing wax. You can now POINT your jar to select a design noun.

Tier 4
Create honey that can be used as a Finishing Touch. Beeswax can now be used to create Makeup 2.0 lip balm.

'''Town Apiaries'''

You will be able to find apiaries (or beehives) in these areas: Cysaegir, Kraken's Fall, Mist Harbor, Nielira Harbor, Ornath, River's Rest, Solhaven, Ta'Illistim, Ta'Vaalor, Teras Isle, Wehnimer's Landing, and Zul Logoth... Oh, and there's one in The Rift. Good luck.

Each apiary has a unique assortment of flowers, local to the area, and as such, will result in different types of honey.

'''Private Property Certificate'''

People who own a private property with an OUTDOOR room (sorry, but bees don't like living inside) can purchase a certificate to add a total of ONE beehive to an individual outdoor room.

Add up to 3 foraged flowers to your beehive (and can also remove them at any time). Keep in mind that flowers that come from foraged props rather than FORAGE will all default to the same flavor and as "wildflower" honey.

Add any Bugs on Parade gem-style honeybee or honey bee or nythien bee to customize the bees in your beehive.

The beehive will add ambients to your outdoor room, but these can be sped up/slowed down or turned off.
For generations, the acqsael have remained within their shifting currents, their shimmering markets concealed among coral beds and bioluminescent grottos deep beneath the sea. Now, as this gathering returns for a second year, they once more extend a graceful invitation to those above.
<br>
<br>
From July 17 through July 26th, the acqsael once again extend their invitation to returning explorers and newly drawn wanderers alike, welcoming you back into their world beneath the waves for a second year of wonder within their markets. Rare wares, elegantly crafted goods, and raffles steeped in quiet mystery await in the drifting currents below, where seasoned merchants and curious vendors gather with creations shaped from materials found only in the deep.
<br>
<br>
In honor of this second gathering, the evening of July 24th through the 26th will again be set aside for unhurried browsing and quiet discovery. The acqsael encourage you to roam the reefs at your own pace, linger within the glowing caverns, and once more take in the distant songs that carry through the sea.
==Appearance==
You see Faiyth.<br>
She appears to be a Dark Elf.<br>
She is of petite stature and has a delicately boned, waifish body. She appears to be young and sprightly. She has thickly lashed almond-shaped misty lilac eyes and flawless petal-soft caramel toned skin. She has long, vibrant, multi-toned silver hair tumbling down to her thighs in a cloud of tousled loose curls. She has an oval-shaped face accentuated by high cheekbones and slender ears that upturn, gently, into delicate points. She has generous, heart-shaped lips that boast a natural raspberry pigment. Her ears are abloom with some dew-dotted pewter hibiscus earcaps unfurling around brilliant lavender amethyst hearts, blossoming in a garden of tropical hues that trail over the curve of her neck and trace the ridges of her ears. She has platinum-swirled twilight purple lacquer brushed onto her well-manicured teardrop fingernails.

She has a fanciful white pegasus tattoo on her ankle, and a pair of fiery opal cluster earrings encircled with tiny diamonds set along the slender tips of her pointed ears.

She is holding a massively interwoven illthorn staff ensnaring an intricate pegasus-etched orb in her right hand.<br>
She is wearing a crude kobold-crafted talisman, a triple strand of fiery glacial white opals, a hip-length wispy lotus white jacket of semi-sheer silk, a thigh-length lilac halter dress draped from a chain of opal-hearted tiger lilies, a flimsy moonlight silver spidersilk purse slung over her shoulder, some soft sheer white thigh-high stockings with small white pearls around the garters, and some ankle-tied alabaster suede sandals.

'''Beach Ware'''
She has thickly lashed almond-shaped misty lilac eyes and flawless petal-soft caramel toned skin. She has long, vibrant, multi-toned silver hair styled into a half updo by some heart-eyed silver pegasus hairpins showcasing saddles of cascading bright ametrine blossoms with dual waterfall braids seamlessly circling the head to meet in the back with the remainder hanging freely in soft curls. She has an oval-shaped face accentuated by high cheekbones and slender ears that upturn, gently, into delicate points. She has generous, heart-shaped lips that boast a natural raspberry pigment. Some red-haired pewter mermaid earcaps with crafted milky celadon jade decolletage engulf her ears, the delicately scaled tails hugging the contours. She has seamist white-marbled ocean blue lacquer brushed onto her wave-tipped, gently rounded nails.

She is wearing a floppy-brimmed woven yellow straw hat, a pair of sleek black-tinted glasses, a crude kobold-crafted talisman, a blossom-inked sage grey silk kimono, a cross-woven banana leaf halter draped from a chain of enameled hibiscus, a thigh-length breezy white cotton skirt awash in vivid purple hibiscus, a suede-drawn woven hemp bag, a pewter wrist-chain embellished with hibiscus blossoms, and a pair of dainty driftwood sandals decorated with tiny shells.
She has long, vibrant, multi-toned silver hair pulled back by a spiral-horned unicorn ornamental headband surrounded by iceblossoms into a thick arrangement of bouncy loose curls that fountain down in soft layers. She has an oval-shaped face accentuated by high cheekbones and slender ears that upturn, gently, into delicate points. She has generous, heart-shaped lips that boast a natural raspberry pigment. Her ears are adorned with some fan-winged ivory pegasus earcaps affixed with hazy twilight purple diamond feathers, their forms framed by a haze of glass-crafted clouds. She has lilac-sheened coraesine silver polish brushed onto her oval-shaped fingernails.

She is holding a massively interwoven illthorn staff ensnaring an intricate pegasus-etched orb in her right hand.

She is wearing a diamond-dotted helm with twin molded equine ears on your head, a tight-fitted pewter suede bodysuit, a cone-shaped silvery lilac funnelweb, some soft sheer white thigh-high stockings with small white pearls around the garters, and some knee-high glossy obsidian leather boots with thick stiletto spiked heels.

Flickering near Faiyth is a regal pegasus, its luminous figure composed of hibiscus white energy. Mane and tail flowing, it trots in a protective circle around her.

==Early Life==
<p>Faiyth is the product of the assault of her sylvankind mother named Meekia by her dark elven father, Teron. Though Meekia was a sweet woman, Faiyth's father Teron is a infamous dark elven pirate whose heartless attacks of seaside towns had been ongoing for years. He had no conscious and killed indiscriminately, leaving many families destroyed. </p>
<p>When Faiyth was born, Teron got word that he was a father and hunted down Faiyth and her mother when Faiyth was no more than a few days old. Upon finding them he murdered her mother and dumped baby Faiyth in the kobold village, hoping the creatures would finish her off.</p>
<p>The kobolds found her squirming and wiggling hilarious and instead raised her as one of them, though she was proclaimed by them to be the ugliest of them all. After much teasing and vaguely hilarious abuse by her kobold clanmates, she accidentally killed one who'd been bullying her rather bad and ended up being kicked out of the kobold village until she could learn to control her dark sorcerer magic.</p>
<p>Ashamed that she couldn't control herself she ventured to the Landing where she secretly began to learn her sorcery and get proficient at it. While there she met a half-elven man, dark, tall and handsome of course, and fell hopelessly in love. It being her first love she was quite naive. After their engagement Faiyth learned her fiance was cheating on her with a ton of other women and something inside her snapped. On that day she decided that men were dogs and couldn't be trusted. So she vowed to treat them like the animals they were and never again fall in love or allow them to hurt her.</p>
==Present Day==
<p>Today Faiyth lives in the Landing, though she often visits her kobold clansmen in the kobold village. She's big on protecting her clan and can often be found in the kobold village yelling at people and chasing off any would be "murderers" from the village.</p>
<p>She currently owns over 1000 dresses because of her intense obsession with clothing. Having been raised by kobolds she tends to love anything sparkly or fancy. For this reason she has hoarded everything she can find into her lockers like a good little kobold packrat.</p>
<p>She absolutely hates boats and pirates because of her father and tries hard to never be caught out on open water without tons of friends. She worries someday her father Teron might learn she's alive and come finish the job by killing her. She can sometimes be found out at sea looking for her pirate father with a ginormous bunch, hoping to kill him before he can kill her.</p>
<p>When Faiyth's not hanging out with her kobold clansmen, hunting her father or hoarding tons of dresses, she can be found flirting or drinking heavily at Helga's or various other establishments. She still hates men and wants nothing more than to prove to them that she will never be fooled by any of them ever again. She hates love and believes it's all a farce meant to keep women down. She never wants to be married and vows to treat men as they treat women, as nothing more than toys to be played with and immediately discarded.

==Prized Possessions==
<pre>a crude kobold-crafted talisman
SHOW: The talisman is strung with leather that weaves tightly around a circular chunk of rolton bone that has been painted with many symbols. The symbols are hard to decipher because they all look like big globs of paint. The writing along the bottom of the bone is even harder to read due to many misspellings and the overall messiness of the creator's handwriting, but despite all that, one manages to read, "Faiyth, official member of the Kobold Clan."</pre>
Faiyth's talisman is her most treasured item. No matter what glamorous sparkly ensemble she has on, this is always befriending it. This was gifted to her by Blarghe, her clan's shaman, when she first joined the kobold clan. She keeps it near her heart to always remember where she came from and that her family is the most important.

'''Loresong'''

<pre>As you sing, the image of a sinister looking pirate with eyes a shifty grey materializes before you. He tosses a swaddled bundle into the blackness of a nearby well, then strides away with a pleased look upon his chiseled face. Your vision slowly fades as you notice that down below in the bottom of the well the bundle is squirming, the material falling away to reveal a squirming newborn.</pre>

<pre>Your song continues to flow, bringing the vibrant vision of a lone dark elven child into focus. The child, her hair a distinct silver hue and her eyes the color of summer lilac, is surrounded by a vast village set in the center of the thriving Dragonspine forest. She giggles with childish abandon as she runs away from three small kobolds, which chase after her with equally playful looks upon their faces. The vision slowly fades as you see the child duck behind a bush, avoiding her pursuers with a laugh.</pre>

<pre>The song causes your focus to suddenly sharpen, bringing forth the image of a fully grown dark elven woman as she stands in the middle of two different worlds. On one side stands a group of kobolds, an aged and weathered one at the forefront. His eyes are glazed with sadness as he gazes at the woman between them. On the other side stands a half-elven man, his blue eyes distrusting as he looks at the kobolds. The woman glances from one side to the next, tears trailing from her lilac eyes.</pre>

<pre>As you continue to sing, the shadow-edged image of an adult dark elven woman takes shape before your eyes. She stands alone among a group of saddened kobolds, her purple eyes filled with silent tears and her silver hair in a tangle about her oval face. She seems to beg the aged and weather kobold for something, but he just shakes his head and resolutely hands her a talisman. She slips it over her head, the bone catching the light and causing the letters painted on the off-white surface to glisten.</pre>

==Prologue==

As her blurry newborn eyes focused on the familiar face before her, she relaxed. Her mother’s soft humming and kind blue eyes soothed her and filled her with warmth. She loved looking at her mother. If only she'd known this would be the last time.

“I’ve a dear little dolly,” her mommy sang, lifting her from the soft covers of her bassinet.

Blowing bubbles, she attempted to lift her head and gaze at her mother’s face, but her heavy head fell back, leaving her staring at the ceiling. Waving her hands, she kicked at her mother’s arm to express her frustration.

When a knock came at the closed door, her mother frowned and paused to stare at it, her teeth worrying her bottom lip. “Yes?”

The knock came again, with no verbal response from the other side.

Her mother took a step back, clutching her tightly in her baby blankets. “Go away!”

Silence filled the room for a long moment, and then the knocking came again, louder this time as it reverberated through the room.

Her mother dashed to the bedroom and began opening cabinets and drawers frantically, jostling her. When her mother unceremoniously shoved her into a drawer, her newborn eyes scrunched with distress and she waved her hands, scratching herself.

“I’m sorry, honey. Please, stay quiet. You must not cry,” Her mother whispered, her eyes filling with tears as she slid her thumb over her bottom lip and murmured an incantation. “I love you.”

As the drawer was thrust shut, locking her inside, her world was cast into darkness. She waved her hands and kicked her feet, trying fruitlessly to cry, but was unable to utter a sound. When a loud crash filled the silence, she froze, startled.

“Go away!” her mother screamed.

“Where is it?” a deep voice growled.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Where, Meekia?”

Silence filled the blackness of her hiding place, making her want to cry again. She hated the dark.

“You won’t save it. I’ll find it with or without you.”

Her mother’s cries filled the silence, followed by a weak whimper of agony. “You can’t have her.”

Another crash came and then the entire world exploded with chaos and destruction. Stuck in her world of darkness, she startled at the violence right outside, her lips quivering as she screamed soundlessly. When her cries suddenly began making noise again, they were no more than pitiful mewling, unnoticeable against the overpowering tempest of sound. She listened desperately for the soft humming of her mother, but her voice was absent. Instead, she heard the sound of heavy footsteps as they paced the room.

“Where is it?” a deep voice whispered from right outside, the tone icy and threatening.

She waved her hands excitedly as the footsteps drew closer, but her world stayed dark.

“Miss?” Shouted a faraway voice. “Hello Miss? Miss!? Are you ok!? You have to move! There's a fire!”

The yelling alarmed her and she began to cry in earnest. The choking smell of smoke filled the darkness and sleep began creeping up on her, overtaking her senses. When the drawer was opened and an old man stared down at her with shock, she was hungry and exhausted, and she wanted her mommy. But her newborn desires were in vain; her mother’s lifeless corpse was lying in the fire-engulfed hallway like a broken doll.

Playing a musical instrument is also tied to a skill, which can only be progressed by practicing. Instruments are categorized based on their type. Each instrument type has its own play skill as well as its own unique messaging when played. While all characters clan learn to play each type of instruments, only [[bard]]s are capable of learning beyond 10 ranks of any instrument skill type.
==Music Styles==
All instruments can be played based on the available {{boldmono|PLAY}} style options. Messaging varies between play styles, with more messaging options becoming available at higher instrument skill ranks.

Valid styles of music are: Joyful, Mournful, Soft, Fast, Slow, Intense, Jaunty, Flamboyant, Aimless, Somber, Inspiring.

==Instrument Types==
===Horns===
Elanthian horns cover two distinct classes of instruments: double-reeds (crumhorns and shawms) and aerophones (cornetts and lysards). They are made of wood. The wood of the horn may very authentically be covered with leathers, hides and skins. Rings, geometric patterns, tassels and streamers, simple inlays, paint, lacquer, filigree or carved work that suits the elongated, tube-like nature of the instrument.

Horns include the cornett, crumhorn, enshai, lysard, and shawm.

===Necked String Instruments===
Necked string instruments contain the same elements as a modern guitar. All of the instruments in this family may be played with Picks, or Plectrums, in the opposite hand.

Necked string instruments consist of a hollow box, or body, over which the strings are stretched. The body consists of the wooden soundbox and soundboard. Strings are attached to the briedge of the instrument below the soundhole. They progress from the bridge, crossing the soundhole and rising over the neck, then arriving at the head or pegbox, where they are attached to tuning pegs.

Necked string instruments include the ayr, biwa, cittern, lute, mandolin, shamisen, and theorbo.

The ayr is of [[Tehir]] origin. The biwa and shamisen were first released at [[Rumor Woods]] in 2019. A biwa is a short-necked, fretted lute with an exaggerated teardrop body. A shamisen is a three stringed instrument with a square soundbox that has rounded edges. It is often played with the aid of plectrum.

===Percussion===
There are two types of percussion instruments: finger cymbals and tambourine.

A tambourine consists of a wooden hoop or shell covered with a skin or hide. Metal jingles are inset into the sides of the shell.

Cymbals are small and metal, with a leather, cord or fabric loop attaching them.

===Pipes===
The bagpipe is played by blowing air into the blowstick or blowpipe where it fills a bag made from leather or hide. It has a chanter placed at the front of the bagpipe, which is the pipe with finger holes that allow the musician to form notes. The blowpipe is directly behind the chanter in the array of pipes.Behind the chanter are drones. The chanter and drones have reeds at their ends. The air forced through the blowpipe, into the bag, up the drones or chanter and through the reeds is what gives a bagpipe that buzzing sound. All of these parts are referred to as the pipes and are attached to the bag with stocks made from wood.

Pipes include bagpipes and the cornemeuse.
===Stringed Instruments===
All of the instruments in this family may be played picks and plectrums. They do not have a [[#Necked Stringed Instrument|neck]], but may vary slightly in appearance depending on the noun. They are always small enough to be able to be held in one hand.

Stringed instruments include the dulcimer, harp, lyre, psaltery, and zither.

===Woodwinds===
Woodwind instruments are a small instrument type.

Woodwind instruments include the fife, flute, ocarina, piccolo, and shinobue.

The shinobue was first released at [[Rumor Woods]] in 2019. Part of the flute family, it is traditionally fashioned of bamboo and has a high-pitched sound.

See all [[Instrument messaging woodwind|woodwind instrument messaging options]].

====Ocarina====
Considered a subclass of the woodwind instrument, the ocarina has its own unique messaging when played. It is a type of vessel flute with fingerholes that uses the woodwind skill. It was first introduced at [[Ebon Gate]] in 2024.
==Master Quality Instrument==
'''Master quality instruments''' (or '''master instruments''') provide additional messaging when played by a bard who is highly skilled in that instrument type. They provide no benefit to non-bard characters. Master quality instruments have been made available throughout the years as an auction tier prize at festivals and pay events. Automated certificates to turn a standard instrument into a master instrument have been sold at [[BVShop:The Annex|The Annex]] at [[Duskruin]].

Examples of master quality instruments include a [[jewel-adorned ebonwood enshai]] and a [[bone-inlaid hawthorn ayr]] (auctioned [[Ebon Gate]] 2006).

}}

== Overview ==

[[Enhancive item|Enhancive items]] provide bonuses to skills and statistics when worn. Building a complete enhancive set can involve several different systems, each with distinct costs and tradeoffs. This guide covers the primary methods for acquiring, building, and refining an enhancive set.

== Enhancive Caps ==

Worn enhancive items are subject to the following combined caps:

* '''50''' skill bonus
* '''40''' stat base (equivalent to 20 stat bonus)

Note that these caps are independent from the [[Ascension Skill System]].

For more detail on how these caps interact, see [[Enhancive item]].

=== Bonus vs. Ranks and Base vs. Bonus ===

For '''skill enhancives''', the choice between bonus and ranks depends on training level. The relationship between skill ranks and skill bonus is non-linear -- the first 10 ranks each provide 5 bonus, the next 10 provide 4 each, and so on. For completely untrained skills, rank enhancives provide significantly more benefit than bonus enhancives of the same value. However, at 40 or more ranks of training, ranks and bonus provide identical benefit. For most actively trained skills, bonus is the better choice: it costs significantly less to recharge and the difference in effective benefit over bonus is negligible or nonexistent at typical training levels.

For '''stat enhancives''', bonus provides twice as many points as base and is cheaper to recharge per point.

See [[Enhancive item]] for a full breakdown of the rank-to-bonus conversion table.

== Methods of Acquiring Enhancive Properties ==

=== Direct Addition (HESS) ===

The [[High End Scrip Shop]] (HESS), available during [[Duskruin Arena|Duskruin]], offers the ability to add enhancive properties directly to an item, one point at a time. This method is generally considered cost-prohibitive compared to other options and is rarely used in practice.

=== Gilded Locus ===

The [[Gilded locus]] is a character-attuned enhancive item available from Duskruin. It occupies its own unique worn slot and can be upgraded with additional properties and boosts at each run of [[Duskruin Arena|Duskruin]], [[Ebon Gate Festival|Ebon Gate]], and [[Rumor Woods]]. It is intended as a "slow burn" build, and though the cumulative upgrade costs can be significant, the power ceiling is high.

=== Duskruin Mania ===

[https://gswiki.play.net/Category:Mania Duskruin Mania] is a live auction event held near the end of each Duskruin run. It is currently the only method that allows enhancive properties from multiple items to be combined onto a single item, and only when this combiner service happens to be offered. The base cost has been at least 1 billion [[bloodscrip]].

=== Fusion Scripts ===

[[Fusion]] is a script system in which orbs socketed into a fusion item contribute their enhancive properties to the wearer. Most fusion items begin with two orb slots; a third slot can be added via HESS.

Orbs are created by the [[Fusion Shaman]] at [[Ebon Gate Festival|Ebon Gate]], using fusion tokens earned from the Arena of the Abyss. The Shaman extracts one enhancive property from a source item, converting it into an orb; all other properties on the item are lost in the process. As a result, source items with a single high-value enhancive property are generally preferred for orb creation.

==== Orb Types ====

{| class="wikitable"
|-
! Type !! Created By !! Availability !! Degradation
|-
| T2 || No longer craftable || Secondary market only || None
|-
| T3 || [[Fusion Shaman]] at [[Ebon Gate Festival|Ebon Gate]] || [[Ebon Gate Festival|Ebon Gate]] or secondary market || Degrades to ~50% baseline; can be made permanent via defusion
|}

==== Defusion ====

The defusion service converts a scripted fusion item into a standard item with the enhancive properties of its orbs built in permanently, removing the orbs and the script. Defusion is available at [https://gswiki.play.net/BVShop:The_Annex The Annex at Duskruin Arena] and costs 100,000 [[Bloodscrip]].

=== Wearable Enhancive Items ===

The easiest method of building an enhancive set is collecting wearable enhancive pieces. These can be obtained in two ways:

* As '''random treasure''' drops
* By converting armaments using a '''nugget''' from the [[Duskruin Arena|Duskruin Annex]]
* By purchasing them from other players ont he secondary market

The faenor nugget at [https://gswiki.play.net/BVShop:The_Annex The Annex] converts an armament (weapon, armor, helm, or greaves) into a piece of jewelry carrying its enhancive properties. The armament's non-enhancive properties are lost in this process, with limited exceptions. All items created via nugget are '''persistent''' (see [[#Charges and Persistence|Charges and Persistence]] below).

== Charges and Persistence ==

Worn enhancive items lose charges over time. There are two types:

* '''Crumbly''': disintegrate when fully depleted
* '''Persistent''': do not disintegrate; can be recharged indefinitely

Items can be recharged in two ways:

* Spending bounty points at the [[Adventurers' Guild]]
* Limited offerings (once or twice per year) to recharge them with silver
* Using a charging potion (available in 4-hour and 1-month) purchased via [https://gswiki.play.net/SimuCoin SimuCoins], via special events, or other players

== Swapping Enhancive Properties ==

Enhancive properties can be swapped between members of defined groups at [[Ebon Gate Festival|Ebon Gate]] via [[Sylinaar]] for 10,000 [[soul shard]]s per swap. The full swap categories from the [[Sylinaar]] page are:

* [[Aura]]*, [[Strength]], and [[Wisdom]]
* [[Agility]], [[Constitution]], [[Dexterity]], and [[Discipline]]
* [[Influence]], [[Intuition]], and [[Logic]]
* Brawling, One-Handed Blunt, One-Handed Edged, Missile Weapons, Polearms, Thrown Weapons, Two Handed Weapons, and Spell Aiming
* Arcane Symbols and Magic Item Use
* All Mana Controls
* All Lores
* Health Regeneration**, Mana Regeneration, Stamina Regeneration
* Max Health**, Max Mana, Max Stamina

<nowiki>*</nowiki>Aura swaps cost 20,000 soul shards instead of 10,000.
<nowiki>**</nowiki>Health Regeneration and Max Health are valued at 50% for conversion purposes — 10 Health Regeneration converts to 5 Mana Regeneration, and vice versa.

Note that swapping two properties from the same category onto a single item will not combine them into one larger bonus; they remain as separate, distinct properties on the item.

Swapping is currently only available at [[Ebon Gate Festival|Ebon Gate]] via [[Sylinaar]].

=== Premium Enhancives ===

[[Premium enhancive|Premium enhancives]] are created via the [[Premium]] points system through Sadie on the [[Isle of the Four Winds]]. This service converts a non-enhancive item the player already owns into a permanent enhancive item with 200 charges. There are four service levels, each allowing 1–2 enhancive properties to be added, with a maximum of +7 to any single property and a combined maximum of +10 if two properties are added.

A few important restrictions apply:

* Items already carrying an enhancive property of any kind are not eligible.
* The resulting item is account-attuned and cannot be used by other accounts.
* Armor concealers are not eligible.
* Level 1-2 services cost 1,800 Premium points; Level 3-4 cost 2,400 Premium points.

Premium enhancives are persistent and start fully charged at 200 charges. They are eligible for property swapping via [[Sylinaar]] at [[Ebon Gate Festival|Ebon Gate]]. For the full list of available properties by service level, see [[Premium enhancive]].

== Set Building: Recommended Approach ==

When assembling an enhancive set, individual item value matters significantly. Items with lower point totals create two compounding problems: they require more charging potions to maintain (more items to reach the maximum amount), and they consume inventory slots quickly. Items with at least 20-25 points of a desired property are generally the most practical building blocks.

A practical set-building progression:

# '''Consider starting small''': Begin with one or two of your primary stats or skills, and check player shops less-expensive items with lower bonuses. Even adding 20-30 of your primary attack can be a significant power increase, and it doesn't take many +4-8 items to get there.
# '''For higher-end items, purchase secondhand if possible''', and aim for items with at least 20-25 bonus to priority statistics or skills. Secondhand purchases are substantially cheaper than building equivalent items from scratch.
# '''Convert armaments via nugget''' at the [[Duskruin Arena|Duskruin Annex]] to create persistent enhancive jewelry for filling gaps in the set.
# '''Swap properties at [[Ebon Gate Festival|Ebon Gate]]''' via [[Sylinaar]] to align the set with specific needs.
This season's theme draws inspiration from sunbaked sands and wind-carved horizons, bringing a new palette and a new spirit to the woods. As always, our offerings will remain varied, but many of this year’s highlights carry a distinctly desert flavor.

The tournament returns with a new rivalry: Scorpion versus Jerboa.
Each side will bear its own colors:

* A beige jerboa on a field of myrtle green
* A jet black scorpion on a field of copper

This year’s festival [[mount]] will be the scorpion, accompanied by new lore released alongside it.

For a special twist, the [[Fox Hunt]] will change its quarry for one year only. Instead of the fox, participants will have the chance to win a jerboa pet.

Prefer not to run the hunt? No worries. The jerboa will also be available through [[RWShop:Ewe_Vixen|Ewe Vixen]].

Sands are shifting. Rivalries are stirring.<br>
[[Rumor Woods]] awaits.

Event begins April 10th, 2026, at 9:30 PM EDT.
Hello, FEREVER. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki that is missing some information required by [[Gswiki:Policy]]. The image flagged is [[:File:Faiyth_contrast.jpeg]]. Your image is missing the following information:

* If the person who created the image is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
* If AI imaging software was used to create it, what is the name of that software?
* If AI imaging software was used to create it, <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> must be in the image description for inclusion in [[:Category:AI artwork]].
Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about the image policy and its requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be all images uploaded to the Gswiki as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. All articles using a moderator-flagged image will also need to have their captions updated to include this required information.
==Article/Edits at Risk for Deletion==
Hi there, FEREVER. In reviewing some of the recent updates, I saw that another account has made edits to [[Serene (prime)]], which was originally created by another user account. Is not clear who is the player behind Serene.

There is no indication on the article's Discussion/Talk tab that Serene's player gave you permission to create or edit a character page on their behalf. [[Gswiki:Policy]] prohibits users from editing character pages unless the character is theirs or they have been given permission by that character's player to make those edits. If you do have permission to edit this character page, you will need to indicate this by clearly stating it on its Discussion/Talk tab, [[Talk:Serene (prime)]], that you have been given permission to do so by the player. Simply noting that in the edit reason for an article is not enough for Gswiki:Policy. Alternatively, Serene's player can put that information on the discussion page. When adding that information, please make sure to add <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki> at the end of your comments, which will automatically add a "signature" with your user name, plus the date and time of when your edit was made.

If you are Serene's player and you have given permission to anyone else to edit the character page, then you will need to clearly state that on [[Talk:Serene (prime)]]. Alternatively, those accounts with permission to edit it can add that information on your behalf. Edits made prior to July, 2023, are grandfathered into an earlier version of Gswiki:Policy for charater pages and will not be reverted or deleted.

'''If that information is not added within 7 days, your edits to the character page will be deleted from the wiki.''' Please do not remove the <nowiki>{{moddelete}}</nowiki> template from this article. Another moderator or I will remove that template after updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet [[Gswiki:Policy]] requirements. ==AI-Generated Images and Categories==
Hi again, FEREVER. Thank you very much for including the copyright information on all of your recent images and their article captions! This helps a lot in terms of wiki moderation. As a reminder, any images created with AI software also need to be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. This is done by typing <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> as part of the image's text description. I have added it on your behalf for the images you recently uploaded, so no action needs to be taken by you for them. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on any of the image files to see it. Please be aware that any future AI-generated images will be flagged if they do not include this category. Thank you for understanding. ==Blanked Articles at Risk for Deletion==
Hello, FEREVER. I have flagged three articles you recently edited for moderator review and deletion as they do not contain any content. Those three articles are [[Faiyth (prime)]], [[Faiyth (prime)/Missing Items]], and [[Kialeigh (prime)]]. If no content is added to these articles within 7 days, they will be deleted. In the future and to avoid any confusion, instead of just deleting all text from an article ("blanking" it), please use <nowiki>{{delete}}</nowiki> on the article to alert a moderator that it should be deleted with the reason why added to the article's talk page. Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information will need to be added onto the image files themselves as well as all articles displaying them.
Hello FEREVER. Thank you for updating your image attributions in response to my inquiry. Unfortunately, when you use the word prompt, we have to view the image as being generated via AI. If this wasn't the case and the image was created by Irvy without the use of AI, then please indicate this by removing the verbiage related to Prompting. If AI software was used, please include that in the attribution and the image will then be compliant. Thank you for understanding. Hello, FEREVER. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki that is missing some information required by [[Gswiki:Policy]]. The image flagged is [[:File:Faiyth_contrast.jpeg]]. Your image is missing the following information:
==Article/Edits at Risk for Deletion==

If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for editing character pages, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone [https://discord.com/channels/226045346399256576/1061330227843833926 Discord forum's wiki thread].
Thank you. [[User:HOST-GSKEBECHET|HOST-GSKEBECHET]] ([[User talk:HOST-GSKEBECHET|talk]]) 10:46, 3 July 2024 (CDT)
==Images at Risk for Deletion==
Hello, FEREVER. You recently uploaded several images to the wiki that do not meet current [[Gswiki:Policy]]. The following images are missing required information:
* [[:File:Amalthea.jpeg]] - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it? If AI imaging software was used to create any part of it, what is the name of that software?
* [[:File:Image4.jpeg]] - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it? If AI imaging software was used to create any part of it, what is the name of that software?
* [[:File:IMG 7573.JPG]] - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it? If AI imaging software was used to create any part of it, what is the name of that software?
Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information will need to be added onto the image files themselves as well as all articles displaying them. In addition, any images that were created using AI imaging software must be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. '''If that information is not added within 7 days, the images will be deleted from the wiki.''' If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone [https://discord.com/channels/226045346399256576/1061330227843833926 Discord forum's wiki thread]. :Hi again, FEREVER. Thank you for starting the process of updating the images I previously flagged and contacted you about last week. ==Image at Risk for Deletion==

If you need examples on how to do this, [[Gswiki:Style guide/Images]] has copy/paste code examples for different image types. If you need instructions on how to do each step, [[Help:Images]] goes into detail on how to edit image files and how to display them with captions on articles.

'''If that information is not added within 7 days, any moderator-flagged images will deleted from the wiki.''' Please do not remove the <nowiki>{{moddelete}}</nowiki> template from any flagged image file. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet [[Gswiki:Policy]] requirements. ==Article/Edits at Risk for Deletion==

If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for editing character pages, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone [https://discord.com/channels/226045346399256576/1061330227843833926 Discord forum's wiki thread].
Thank you. [[User:HOST-GSKEBECHET|HOST-GSKEBECHET]] ([[User talk:HOST-GSKEBECHET|talk]]) 10:46, 3 July 2024 (CDT)
==Images at Risk for Deletion==
* [[:File:Image2.jpeg]] - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it? If AI imaging software was used to create any part of it, what is the name of that software?
* [[:File:Image4.jpeg]] - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it? If AI imaging software was used to create any part of it, what is the name of that software?
* [[:File:IMG 7573.JPG]] - Who created this image? If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it? If AI imaging software was used to create any part of it, what is the name of that software?
* [[:File:Kialeigh.jpg]] - Who created this image?
I see that you have added in what AI imaging software was used to create each image and that you added each to [[:Category:AI artwork]].
==Image at Risk for Deletion==
Hello, TEDESCHIC. You recently uploaded multiple images to the wiki that are missing information required by [[Gswiki:Policy]]. The nine images missing information include [[:File:2670F0ED-6E89-46BD-A498-22CF2557EE55.jpg]], [[:FILE:Everall 2.jpg]], [[:FILE:Everall 3.jpg]], [[:FILE:Lasharam1.jpg]], [[:FILE:Lasharam2.jpg]], [[:FILE:Lasharam3.jpg]], [[:FILE:Litha1.jpg]], [[:FILE:Litha2.jpg]], and [[:FILE:Litha3.jpg]]. All images are missing the following information:
* Who created the image?
* If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
* If AI imaging software was used to create it, what is the name of that software?
* If AI imaging software was used to create it, <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> must be in the image description for inclusion in Category:AI artwork.
Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about the image policy and its requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be on the images as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. To add that text to the image file, you will need to click on "Edit Source" on the image file itself and add all of the required information. All articles using these images will also need to have their captions updated to include this required information.

The text looks perfect for the purposes of [[Gswiki:Policy]]. As a reminder, any created with AI image generating software also needs to be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. This is done by typing <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> as part of the image's text description. I have added it on your behalf for the images you recently uploaded, including the newest one ([[:File:Kencathedrus.jpg]]). A '''small clay animal''' is a special piece of pottery created by GM Haliste. If watered consistently, something grows inside of it. A small clay animal was first featured in the third PlayApartTogether {{boldmono|[[GIFTBOX]]}} between May 6 and May 19, 2020. When you looked in the animal-stamped present, you saw a small clay animal. When you picked up the animal, it changed and became a particular type of animal. Here is a list of some of the various types of clay animals that were found:
*a small clay bear
*a small clay bobcat
*a small clay chimera
*a small clay dobrem
*a small clay mezic
*a small clay puma
*a small clay relnak
*a small clay rolton
*a small clay sheep
*a small clay snowcat
*a small clay tegu
*a small clay urgh
*a small clay yeti
*a small clay weasel
*a small clay wolverine
*a small clay lizard
*a small clay shrickhen

===GIFTBOX Messaging===
<pre{{log2}}>
The clay animal requires watering to grow. Be sure to water it daily until it's finished! Once you start, you'll want to make sure you continue until it fully blooms!

===GM Wyrom Message===
<pre{{log2}}>
Once you start watering it, you won't want to miss a single day until it has fully bloomed! Only start it when you're prepared to visit daily!

The chia pet should only be capable of being watered once a day. If you do all 14 days, you get a violet orb. If you do between 7 and 13, you get a blue orb. If you don't do 7 days, you don't get anything. It logs on the game's end for when it is watered. It does use eastern time. The system has no wiggle room though. Once it hits midnight, it's the next day.<ref>[https://discord.com/channels/226045346399256576/387271681539833858/713081078608298055 Discord link]</ref>
