Astele grew up amid galleries, workshops, performances, pageantry, and streets where even lamps, bridges, gardens, and waterways were shaped with artistic intent. Her family's crest and culture already prized music, and she showed early gifts with the harp and flute, learning melodies whose phrasing belonged unmistakably to Ta'Loenthra: graceful, exacting, layered, and meant to be heard by those patient enough to listen.

			Astele loved Ta'Loenthra, but she also began to feel that its music must be heard by all. Many Loenthrans believed outsiders could not truly appreciate their art, and some wandering bards left the elven lands only to find the wider world coarse and impatient. Astele believed the opposite. If Loenthran music was truly beautiful, then it deserved to travel beyond Loenthra, beyond elves, beyond those already trained to admire it. What began as youthful curiosity became a calling: to carry the harp and flute of her homeland to ears that might never otherwise hear them.

Astele has become a familiar and beloved performer who carried the music of Ta'Loenthra wherever she went.
