What unfolded there surprised Pennysel immensely, for Casivit seemed in despair at his looks, at his flitraegt essence, he seemed vulnerable and sad, not the angry monster she knew. Brixt reassured Casivit, and those witnessing it saw a nascent love unfolding -- with Brixt loving Casivit exactly as he is. Eventually, Casivit conceded that Pennysel and others could come visit sometimes, Brixt convinced Casivit he didn't want to leave, and a happy ending appears to be had. Pennysel even got Casivit to open up some about his curse, and he revealed he was once a coblynau but barely remembers being one, and he was cursed by some mage who owned the mansion. He thinks the mage was destroyed in the casting of the curse, and the enclave just thought the flitraegt was the old mage and that their missing coblynau had gone off adventuring. People discussed curse-breaking, and it was suggested Brixt kiss Casivit based off old stories, and while something seemed to happen, the curse was not broken. People hypothesized other reasons for it, including that perhaps, this is just who he is now. Pennysel even mentioned that it was a good way to keep protecting the enclave. Overwhelmed by the visitors, Casivit took his leave.
