The pieces unravel the time comes unbound. 
Lost is the art; it was mine and I was found. 
Laws of man, any man, the laws of this land, 
Took it from me ripped it from my hand. 

A promise made; a heart asunder. 
The anguished cry heard over thunder. 
Lips peel back and the throat turns raw. 
But nothing can return the bliss that I saw. 

Lost to me, in depths far below, 
Down in the place, I cannot go. 
Dark is the deep, and pure is the blood. 
Unpure is this flower that will not bud. 

Through the raw silk, my heart’s fire unwound 
Gripped in my pain and thrown to the ground 
Choked are my tears, in them, I pray to drown 
As I wander the streets of this, our distant town. 

They stare at me they snicker and some even glance. 
Don’t they see without you I stand not a chance? 
Wrapped in the cackle, the glee gone from my voice. 
This was how you’d found me, now I’ve lost my choice. 

Dragged from the cusp, the lip of abyss 
Away from your arms, your touch, and kiss. 
You're long overdue, not a trio but an odd duet 
Has the Matron reclaimed, asked for unpaid debt? 

Gone is the sister, the jackal, and warrior. 
Gone is the smile, the cackle, and savior. 
Where is my bow, my heart, and my song. 
With such a group what could have gone wrong? 

Lone is this town, this home, and this tomb. 
Withered is the flower left here to bloom. 
Long will I wait my heart will not waiver, 
For you are my one, my only, my savior.
