For alteration purposes, keep the following in mind:.  The design, when not being utilized on a tortoise, is that of a carved wooden, curve-edged cube that houses its gnomish-inspired mechanisms.  It utilizes a wrapped and cinched cording system for saddling and has padding on the underside.  As part of saddling, the upper section folds out into a box-bottomed seat with arm rests and a seatback.  The base has semi-stiff, metal jointed-billet stirrups that retract and extend via an internal mechanism.  It is somewhat heavy.&lt;br /&gt;

The hailx can have two minor customizations set if not already addressed in the base/long/show.  They are:&lt;br /&gt;

For alteration purposes, keep the following in mind:.  It is crafted from a treated vellia leaf.  When it is infused with the substance from the small glass vial imbedded near the front, it adheres directly to a tortoise&amp;#039;s neck and takes on a semblance of life while also forming a chair that is subtly angled backwards.  The leaf&amp;#039;s veining is somewhat luminous when in this state.  It has vine stirrups.  It is fairly lightweight.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The rivella can have three minor customizations set if not already addressed in the base/long/show.  They are:&lt;br /&gt;
  - the color of the rivellia&amp;#039;s veining.  Currently: {{blue|dark taupe}}&lt;br /&gt;
  - the main color of the vellia leaf.  Currently: {{blue|red-speckled taupe}}&lt;br /&gt;
