Originally found by the [[Faendryl]] after being exiled to [[Rhoska-Tor]], it is believed that coraesine is a semi-intelligent material, capable of aligning to a certain mind if it becomes familiar enough with with it. Wielders that the metal is unfamiliar with will sometimes experience backlashes of the metal's magical properties until the metal becomes more familiar with that wielder.
