'''Dracovir Faendryl''' is the Prefect of the Palestra, the highest ranking member of the Palestra. (This is sometimes mistranslated into Common as Prelate of the Palestra.) The Prefect holds the equivalent rank of Arch Chancellor, being "first among equals" among the Arch Chancellors, working side-by-side with the Basilican Magistrate. Unlike the other Arch Chancellors of the Rachis, the Palestra is a body of the Rachis, so the Prefect does not have a [[The Theory of Governance and Social Order|Pentact]] division. But there are Palestra interspersed throughout all divisions of the Pentact for protection, law enforcement, surveillance, and regulatory reasons.<br />

In the fall of 5125 Modern Era there was a massive [[Tales of Wehnimer's Landing (storyline)/2025-11-26 - The Aralyte-enment (log)|shock wave]] in the veil, which was caused by the soulstone of the lost Palestra Blade [[Aralyte Halanori Faendryl]] interacting with Melgorehn's Reach. There were invasions of shadows and what appeared to be Ithzir. [[Thagoria|Thagoria Vespiria Faendryl]] found there was some reason to believe Aralyte still survives in the [[Shadow Realm]]. Dracovir was [[Tales of Wehnimer's Landing (storyline)/2025-12-03 - Thagoria Informs of Basilica Investigation and Sorcerer Sacrifice Update Release Event (log)|mentioned]] as one of the possible figures who could end up in control of the situation. Dracovir was described as not getting along well "by design," due to overlapping jurisdictions, with the Basilican Sorcerer [[Malevort Hexmor Faendryl|Malevort]].<br />
