1. Upcoming Events:

THE FESTIVAL OF OLEANI
It's that time of year again! Join us in Blaeston Village for a weekend of
feasting and gaming to celebrate the passing of winter and the beginning
of summer. Delight in the nightly parades, bonfires and firework displays.
Compete against your friends in the Water Tunnel races, Jousting
Tournament arenas, Mudwrestling pits and more! Or just eat, drink, and
gamble the night away in the One-Armed Goblins.

The festivities kick off at 7 PM EST on Friday, May 19th, and run through
10 PM EST on Sunday May 21st. Tickets are on sale now - login to the
website (http://gemstone.net) and click on the Oleani Festival link to get
yours today!

BUTTERFLY FESTIVAL
Butterflies have been sighted all across the land, and seem to be heading
in the general direction of Solhaven. April 21st marks the first annual
Celebration of the Butterflies, and numerous festivities are planned to
make this a truly festive occasion. The gypsies have several surprises in
store and gifts for all who attend the gathering! In addition, join in the
ribbon cutting for the grand opening of the Ocotillo Zoogrounds and
welcome our new animal guests! Check out NEWS 1 1 for more information. We
hope to see you there!

NEW PLAYER LEXICON GAMES!
Join the Lorekeepers of Silverwood Manor for a special series of Lexicons
for Novice citizens. This is a fun and interactive way to learn all the
best action verbs and enhance your roleplaying activity in Elanthia!
Gather for the festivities on Wednesday, May 3rd at 9 PM EST in Wehnimer's
Landing and on Saturday, May 13th, at 5 PM EST in Icemule Trace. Mentors
and GameMasters will be available for demonstrations and questions
following the games!

BUDDY CONTEST WINNERS
They told their friends about GemStone III and now they're reaping the
rewards! We'll be picking three winners at the end of every month, so just

MERCHANTS' FOUNDERS CELEBRATION
The Elanthian Merchants Festival, held the weekend of March 24th, was a
rousing success. Over 20 shops were opened, and about a dozen merchants
offered alterations. The merchant guild estimates that the shops and
merchants brought in 1.5 billion silvers during the festival!

FOEHN'S PROMISE MURDER MYSTERY
Congratulations to all those who discovered that the murderer in the
Foehn's Promise Murder Mystery was Tuille! For more details on the murder
join discussion in our message boards under the Quest, Sagas and Events
