1. Upcoming Events:

NEW PLAYER TOURS
New to GemStone III? Join the New Player Tours and learn what you need to
know to get going in the lands. Tour times are listed below and are also
available in-game by typing TOUR. To participate, log-in to play during
the scheduled times or just listen for the announcements and type JOIN
TOUR within Wehnimer's Landing. See you there!

VEGASCON 2001!
The VegasCon 2001 Planning Team brings you yet another year of gambling
and just a smidgen of good clean fun in the land of strobe lights - Las
Vegas! Come meet the faces behind the players and find out what those
GameMasters do when they are let loose on the street on January 18th -
21st, 2001! To register and for this exciting event, login to the GemStone
III website (http://gemstone.net) and click on the "Registration Page"
link in the VegasCon feature article.

NEW PLAYER LEXICON GAMES
Join the Lorekeepers of Silverwood Manor for a fun and interactive series
of games to learn all the best action verbs and enhance your roleplaying
activity in Elanthia! Gather for the festivities on Saturday, September
16th, at 5 PM EST in Silverwood Manor in Wehnimer's Landing (one east from
the temple (DIR TEMPLE) and through the gate). Mentors and GameMasters
will be available for demonstrations and questions following the games!

Join fellow Four Winds Hall members for this month's meeting on Friday,
September 29th, at 9:30 PM EST in the Frostacre Woods. Discuss ongoing
projects and meet the new GM Cyr. Portals will be available at the arches
inside the Halls, and the raffle will begin 30 minutes before the meeting.
