1. Upcoming Events:

EBON'S GATE FESTIVAL
Celebrate Lorminstra's yearly opening of Ebon's Gate with games,
merchants, food and festivities at the three-day Eve of the Reunion
Festival, October 27-30th. In addition to such old favorites as the Ferris
Wheel, Jousting, and Tunnel Races, there's talk of five new rides and
games being added this year. Combine that with, parades, daily contests,
dozens of merchants and nightly bonfires for one of the most exciting and
anticipated events of the year. Tickets are on sale now and selling out
quickly - register today at http://gemstone.net.

SORCERER & WIZARD FOCUS GROUPS
New to Sorcery? Have a question about a Sorcerer spell? Wondering what's
in store for the future of Sorcery? If so, then join fellow players and
staff for the next in a series of focus groups dedicated to the
profession, held on October 25th at 10:30 PM EST. Pre-register by sending
an email to GS3-Khaladon@play.net and read the Sorcerers General
Discussion boards for more info.

And all wizards of Elanthia are invited to join Sage Mahegh to discuss
specific topics pertaining to the wizard profession. The next round of
meetings will take place in November. Pre-register by sending an email to

more details.

FESTIVAL OF LEARNING
Whether you're new to the lands or just looking to meet new friends and
learn more about Elanthia's history, be sure to join in the hunts and
games of the Festival of Learning! It's hosted by the House of the Argent
Aspis on the first Friday of every month. Mark your calendar now for the
next scheduled festival, November 3rd, at 10 PM EST. House Argent Aspis is
located at the far southeast end of Wehnimer's Landing.
