EVENT SURVEY RESULT
Last month we surveyed players regarding whether they would prefer to have
us focus our attention on doing more events or completing the current 24-
hour referral coverage goal. The results were the following:

Refers: 14%
Indifferent: 13%

As a result, we're proud to announce that starting this month we will be
offering over a hundred more events per month than ever before!

EBON'S GATE FESTIVAL
This year's October "Eve of the Reunion" Festival, running October 29th
through the 31st, will feature all the games, merchants, fun, and most
importantly, food that one would expect from a grand celebration in honor
of Lorminstra! There's room for hundreds of revelers, but participation is
limited for this three-day event, so sign up today at http://gemstone.net.

ROLEPLAY IN OCTOBER
Starting on October 11th, the GemStone III staff will offer a wide variety
of role-playing opportunities. Over 50 scheduled events are planned for
the month (check NEWS for a continually updated schedule) as well as
dozens of surprises. Look for a new ongoing storyline, developments
within the House and Society systems, the Ebon's Gate festival, a wide
variety of merchants, contests and more.

YOUNG SORCERER FORUM
Join the Order of Lorekeepers for a "Young Sorcerer Forum" on October 10,
1999 at 9:00 PM Eastern at Silverwood Manor in the Sorcerer Room of the

SIMUCON 99 WINNERS!
SimuCon '99 was a great success! This year's attendees spent the weekend
with bird of prey, sword-fighting pirates, a wickedly frustrating puzzle
pack, and that darn locked treasure chest!
