"Shadow's Descent": New Story Quest. The masked Gemstone Artificer has a new request. Uncover the connection between the Empyrean Syndicate and the Lunar Shard Gemstones in this multi-part narrative that takes you across Elanthia. Completing the quest unlocks Gemstone Codices, repeatable quests, and the GEM ONSLAUGHT command. Requires completion of "A Sparkling Ascent."

Dynamic Onslaught Events. Empyrean invasion forces now periodically assault Ascension hunting grounds, with one Onslaught active at a time on a randomly chosen ground.
