They were able surmise from what the pair was doing, seeking old tomes wherever they caused chaos as distractions, that she was seeking to extend his life unnaturally. They claimed to not have full descriptions of the pair as they were using disguises, but knew both of their names, and were tracking them with the vulture Kristuh.
