In the course of his study, he learned sorcerous spells that would aid him in battle - after all, trafficking with such forces is a dangerous practice and he must know how to defend himself. More recently, he joined a [[Council_of_Light|secret society]] whom he believes might hold the keys to some of the power he is searching for. Rumors abound regarding another faction who may yet provide another route to mastery of the dead, and Feynras means to seek them out at earliest opportunity.
