 The point is opposite of that, actually. It’s a new option where you trade treasure for better gemstone rewards (bad luck prevention, the geode to pick between 2 gemstones per find, etc). We’re discussing the update, but it’s likely to be that you can’t enable GEM FIXATE when at the soft treasure cap and when enabled, lasts for the remainder of the week.

			GEM FIXATE has the following effects:
			*GEM FIXATE lasts until end of day or you find a Gemstone - whichever comes first.
			*You are ineligible for most silver-based treasure.
			*You are more likely to find Gemstones.
