			In the event that the player of a character has passed away, the following steps will be taken to handle the the character page(s) (and associated subpages):
			# The character page(s) and associated subpages, if any, will be locked to edits by outside parties. This is to preserve them exactly as the player had presented them, thus keeping their own voice for their characters.
			# A [[Template:In memoriam\|banner template]] will be added to the top of the character page stating that they are preserved to memorialize the player behind them. This banner template will additionally include a link to a memorial subpage (see #3).
