The fourteenth of the dynastic line of [[Argent Mirrors]], Lahrair was famously known as "The Child Argent." The second daughter of [[Elmelan Illistim]], she was only a child when she ascended to the throne. There are no records for who controlled the government when she was a child. In fact, there are almost no records from that time at all, undoubtedly purged on purpose with what is assumed to be malicious intent. Historical records only resume when Lahrair was a young adult.

Since her mother was Vaaloran, there were calls to make her serve in the [[Crimson Legion]], as conscription was mandatory for the [[Vaalor]] military. The Council of Thrones dismissed this as an absurdity, and Lahrair sent her own legion to serve in her place. While part of the Vaalor army, it was a separate unit, and would eventually evolve into the [[Sabrar]]. She had her only daughter [[Lilorandrych]] at the age of 664, who would go on to become one of the greatest Argent Mirrors.
