To use the guild library for alchemy research, simply go to where the books are and start [[SEARCH (verb)|SEARCH]]ing. (The layout of the Wizard guild requires one to find the halls with the bookshelves, not the reading corners.) If you need a break, don't worry -- the state of your research will be preserved for up to 2 weeks.
