Mail signets and wax should not be confused with [[stationery signet]]s and wax, which utilize the [[stationery system]].

It is possible to unlock a mail signet to also be compatible with the stationery system via an automated certificate. This certificate was first sold in 2022 at [[Agora Promenade]]'s [[Let's Make a Seal]] shop, as part of the [[Trials of Lumnis]] event. This unlock certificate is still available at the shop, which is now permanetly open with the full release of the [[Isle of Ornath]] and its [[Sleeping Drake Harbor]]. After applying this certificate, {{boldmono|FLIP}} will freely convert the mail signet into a stationery signet and back again.
