'''Ponter Tinning''' was one of several active military Officers in [[Ta'Vaalor]] during the [[Griffin Sword Saga]] in late 5102 and into 5103. He was involved in the supervision of the recently-formed Golden Hawks and the Crimson Ravens elven homeland defense units, and he focused primarily on the Crimson Ravens. He was occasionally present to help take care of any [[Dark Alliance]] supporters causing trouble within the city walls after the war had moved eastward.

He was also involved with the [[Elanthian Journal/Edition 23|opening of the Order of Voln outpost]] outside of Ta'Vaalor.
