==Hunting Strategies==&lt;br /&gt;
Vapor hounds like [[night hound]]s have a breath attack that causes a cloud to form and linger in the air. Breathing the gas will cause damage over time for each round that a character remains in its vicinity. The spell [[Purify Air (207)]] will negate the effects of the cloud. Once killed, any active cloud created by a vapor hound will immediately dissipate harmlessly. Note that the Raining Caves area is also &lt;br /&gt;
inhabited by [[wind witch]]es which cast [[gas cloud]]s.&lt;br /&gt;

==Other Information==&lt;br /&gt;
*Vapor and night hound [[target defense]] (TD) is 25 points higher than their living counterparts (ice, storm and water hounds).&lt;br /&gt;
*Vapor hounds can shake off stuns&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;pre{{log2|margin-right=26em}}&amp;gt;A Vapor hound howls in rage as it shakes off the stun.&amp;lt;/pre&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*Each time a vapor hound emits a cloud of green vapors it will be immediately accompanied by a bite or claw physical attack. This dual attack is a characteristic of hounds ([[night hound|night]], [[ice hound|ice]], [[storm hound|storm]], vapor and [[water hound|water]]) in general.&lt;br /&gt;
