Voln fu formula for Throw MB:

Brawling Skill * 20/17 (normal rounding) + AGI Bonus/2 (normal rounding) + DEX Bonus/2 (normal rounding) + STR Bonus/5 (truncated) + Perception skill/20 (truncated) = Throw MB

Note: Add +1 for each voln step completed for Kick/Punch MB (max +26 for voln master) against undead only. Voln steps known will not increase throw MB against undead. Your throw MB will also be your MB against living critters for kick, punch and throw.

Formula assumes no encumbrance or armor penalties (armor higher than full leather AsG), normal room lighting conditions, both hands empty and no spell effects.

Generally speaking the armor action penalty will equal the amount MB will be reduced regardless of armor training. Eg. Double Leather will be (-8) to MB while Full Plate will be (-35) whether you have 0 or 140 ranks of armor training. Of course other penalties to undertraining armor would obviously still apply.

Spell 102 is your friend when using Voln fu. Unlike melee weapons it will increase your defense +20, but will have no negative impact on Voln fu MB.
