rickety market stall with a boot-strung canopy, [Map Room #18], Lich# 29467, go rickety stall

Stomp Around

[Stomp Around - 29468]
The cramped quarters of this small market stall are stuffed chock-a-block with heavy boots of myriad sizing, which look to fit from the smallest of halflings to the largest of giantkin. A makeshift counter, a heavy oak door laid across two splintering crates, appears ready to collapse under a mountain of footwear at any moment, and a sloppily scrawled sign hangs from a bent hobnail.

sloppily scrawled sign
We sell boots. Sturdy ones, made by dwarves. Don't ask for those dainty shoes to mince around in, we ain't got 'em. If you're looking for something to wear on a mushroom hunt or a picnic in roa'ter-infested tunnels, these'll do you nicely. We might be around some to show you how to do more things with them or to make some custom pairs. Keep an ear out. --The Management

On the makeshift counter you see: some sturdy dwarven-crafted boots of creased black leather, some thick-soled hunter green boots, some carmine leather work boots, some faded steel-grommeted boots laced with crimson twine, some heavy midnight blue boots with dingy white canvas patches, some pale pink suede knee boots, some tall steel-buckled boots, some cuffed ale brown suede boots, some marbled ebon and red leather boots with studded toecaps, a pair of hobnail boots with invar buckles, a pair of vultite-studded boots, some battle-scarred leather boots, a pair of tightly laced half-boots, some heavy black cordovan boots and some scuffed leather boots with pickaxes embossed on the heel.

You sense that the boots can be altered, bearing in mind the following: (1) the noun cannot change; (2) they must remain heavy and sturdy; and (3) they are, by nature, of dwarven craftsmanship -- while it does not need to be clear in the description, nothing can contradict that basic fact!

You can try to PUSH, STOMP, TAP, or WAVE the boots.
The boots may not be lightened further (despite the next sentence).
