Channeling is an alternate method of casting various spells, generally attack spells.
Channeling is an alternate method of casting various prepped spells, generally attack spells.


Using the verb CHANNEL instead of the verb cast, the caster can receive a benefit for aggressive stances and having a hand or both hands open.
Once the spell has been prepared, using the verb CHANNEL instead of the verb cast, the caster can receive extra benefit (usually in terms of extra damage dealt to the target). Channeling is not a possible option using the incant verb.


Channeling requires at least one hand open, but extra benefit is garnered by having both open.
Channel incurs a 3 second hard rt which runs concurrent with the 3 second cast rt.

Channeling garners additional benefit when used from an agressive stance. The more aggressive the stance, the bigger the benefit.
