Item scripts are being reorganized to distinguish those scripts that have been known to be added to existing items. Most scripts will be moved to the Scripted Items Category.
Example: Writable book is a scripted item for which the script will not be added to another existing item, but Voln armor is an item script where one might be able to have it added to an existing armor. There is a lot of overlap between the two categories.
Item scripts are in-game characteristics or abilities of items. These generally fall into two categories:
- Functional or combat related, like Ithziri flares armor or rotating weapon flares (see Subcategory: Functional Scripts).
- Fluff scripts or 'zests,' which usually trap verbs to return special messaging.
- Items and Inventory Officials folder
