Pet spells are a category of spells for which a caster summons something that follows him around and provides some sort of unique mechanical benefit, be it combat or utility. All pets appears in game as a "creature" in monsterbold, thus disqualifying Floating Disk (511) as a true pet spell. These spells may also be prevented from following in certain areas/rooms that are set to restrict their access, although there is no rule that all must be restricted from the same area. An area may allow one but prevent another.
