The Dhe'nar are a dark-elven culture. They split from the Elven nations approximately 50,000 years before the modern Elanthian calendar was established. This was prior to the historical event that led to the establishment of the seven Elven Nations.

The Dhe'nar were originally followers of Noi'sho'rah prior to his death or Ascension. They traveled southwest after leaving the original elven lands, led by Tahlad Tsi'shalar until they arrived in Rhoska-Tor. They eventually settled permanently in the area they called Sharath.
