*Back and shoulder (cloak) worn containers will be deepened to 200lbs.
:*200lbs - Back and shoulder (cloak) worn
*Slung over the shoulder (like a shield) worn containers will be deepened to 100lbs.
:*100lbs - Slung over the shoulder (like a shield)
*Belt, attached to a belt, over-the-front, torso/chest, and leg worn containers will be deepened to 60lbs.
:*60lbs - Belt, attached to a belt, over-the-front, torso/chest, and leg worn
*Everything else to 20lbs.
:*20lbs - Everything else

Containers already at or over the published limits will not be worked on.
This obviously puts cloaks and backpacks into the most desired, or making a belt hold 60lbs. If your container is already over these numbers, we will not be adding anymore (go home crystal & gem bags, you're drunk).

A lesser form of epic deepening, referred to as '''grandiose deepening''', was offered at [[Briarmoon Cove]] and on board [[The Albatross]] with the following limits:

:*160lbs - Back, cloak, and some shoulder containers.
:*70lbs - Hanging off the belt and some shoulder containers
:*50lbs - Over-the-front, and various other smaller containers
:*16lbs - Tiny containers like thigh sheaths, ankle sheaths and waist worn

Epic deepening is a merchant service most often provided at high-end ticketed festivals such as Return to Coraesine Field. It allows one to take a container to a capacity not usually allowed by regular deepening (GALD) merchants and regardless of the weight of the container. So while a one pound back worn container might usually be limited to a 60 lb capacity, with epic deepening it could be taken to 180 lbs capacity (Return to Coraesine Field) or 200 lbs capacity (Cessation of Coraesine Field (CCF)). The epic deepening limits are announced prior to the ticketed festival.

For example, from CCF:

  • 200lbs - Back and shoulder (cloak) worn
  • 100lbs - Slung over the shoulder (like a shield)
  • 60lbs - Belt, attached to a belt, over-the-front, torso/chest, and leg worn
  • 20lbs - Everything else

Containers already at or over the published limits will not be worked on.

A lesser form of epic deepening, referred to as grandiose deepening, was offered at Briarmoon Cove and on board The Albatross with the following limits:

  • 160lbs - Back, cloak, and some shoulder containers.
  • 70lbs - Hanging off the belt and some shoulder containers
  • 50lbs - Over-the-front, and various other smaller containers
  • 16lbs - Tiny containers like thigh sheaths, ankle sheaths and waist worn
