Ethereal armor
Ethereal armor is purchased from the Reim Base Camp for 75,000 ethereal scrip. It has three fluff tiers (OTS + two unlocks), five defensive tiers, and one padding tier that can be unlocked (some of these tiers can be purchased from the Reim Base Camp in the form of a waiver). Each defensive tier adds +5 defensive strength to a maximum of +25 at tier 5. The auction unlock adds critical padding to the defensive flare resulting in 2 points of padding per unlock to a maximum of 10 points of padding. The padding stacks with all other forms of padding. The fluff color, defensive flare color, and padding color can all be customized.
At Reim Base Camp, Armory, an ethereal armor deed can be purchased and added to existing armor, as long as it is capable. This will turn the existing armor into ethereal armor, and afterwards, the ethereal armor waivers can be used to improve the armor.

Note: While more than two fluff unlock certificates can be purchased and applied, there are only two unlockable tiers on the armor with verbs or ambient messaging. Applying 3+ fluff unlock waivers serves no purpose beyond spending ethereal scrip.
