The Halls of Solace was one of the great monasteries of the Order of Voln.
The Halls of Solace was located in the Turamzzyrian city of Nydds in the earldom of South Hendor. It was most likely a intellectual center of the Order of Voln, given the academic and intellectual nature of its host city. In 5074, the Grandmaster of the Halls of Solace, Patriarch Jaynus, assisted in the defeat of the Horned Cabal at the Battle of Elstreth. This was done by research which produced ritual which when combined with a blessing negated the Sphere of Sorrow's ability to raise the slain as undead.
