Though lankier than most of its brethren, the hunter troll still towers over the tallest of giantmen. Its skin is slightly paler than most trolls, but the intelligence which smolders in its dark eyes forces you to dismiss any thought of this being a weak or inferior breed.

Hunting strategies

Hunter trolls have very low DS for their level range and are stunnable, making them highly vulnerable to critical strikes. They stand about nine feet tall so it is not possible to ambush the head immediately, but this can be done after knocking them down.
