IGNORE is a roleplaying verb.
Usage
General:
>ignore You pretend to be oblivious to the world around you. XXX appears to be ignoring everything going on around her.
Person:
>ignore XXX You turn away from XXX, ignoring her. XXX turns away, ignoring you.
Self:
>ignore XXX You try to figure out how to ignore yourself. XXX looks rather confused.
Item:
>ignore lantern You pretend not to notice the lantern. XXX pretends not to notice a lantern.
