Issyldra, known as the Ice Queen, was responsible for the Witch Winter that lasted from 4628 to 4632, M.E.
Issyldra appeared from unknown origin to devastate the western half of the continent of Elanthia with her enchanted winter. Her fortress, deep in the Dragonspine Mountains was known as Rimefast. From there she conquered the Kingdom of Hendor, before being killed by Llaestal Anodheles and Rasimm Roelas. Upon her death, the Witch Winter came to an end.
In present day Hendor, superstition holds that she still roams the lands in the form of a snowshoe hare.
