Summary

  • Sir Thadston says the Koar shrine at the outpost will be closed off to all, including Irar, until they can be sure that the incident resulting in his death the night before will not be repeated.
  • Irar is also requested to avoid the outpost in case of danger following him; failure to comply will mean imprisonment.
  • Mayor Cruxophim doesn't yet have [[::Cyph_Kestrel|Cyph]]'s body ready to give to Thadston, so Thadston says he'll return for him tomorrow.
  • Thadston doesn't have any leads about the coming assault and doesn't wish to share who called him back to the Outpost initially.

Log

The Closed Koar Shrine

Along the stone ramparts of the Hendoran Outpost, a number of black mein golems march in the night, the snow and moon gleaming off of their faceted metal forms. Standing among them, is Sir Thadston, chiseled and unmoving, cold eyes to the surroundings. A moment passes, and he steps out of sight, and reemerges in the grasslands, marching stoicly to town.

Sir Thadston marches silently through the town gates, heading towards Moot Hall.

Sir Thadston just came marching in.

Thadston nods.

J>look thadst

You see Sir Thadston Andrews.

He appears to be a Human from Hendor.

He is very tall. He appears to be mature. He has brooding mist grey eyes and tanned skin. He has chin-length, wavy golden-brown hair peppered with white. He has a square-jawed face, a broken nose and a trimmed, golden-brown beard.

He is in good shape.

He is wearing a crystal amulet, a crisp dark leather cloak emblazoned with a deep blue phoenix on the back, a silver-bound blue steel aegis, a worn black leather pack, some heavy grey and black scalemail, some black enameled steel bracers, a heavy black back scabbard, some fitted dark leather pants, and a pair of black boots.

Thadston monotonously says, "Good evening."

Thadston monotonously says, "I have been briefed on the reports involving Deacon Irar and some activity last evening in the Koar shrine within the Outpost."

Irar nods at Thadston.

Speaking to Thadston, Irar asks, "Turned up any leads?"

Thadston monotonously says, "Until we can be sure there is no further danger, to the Outpost, or the Deacon himself, the shrine to Koar will be closed and any seeking to go within will be barred."

Thadston monotonously says, "Furthermore, Deacon Irar, you will be requested to avoid the Hendoran Outpost in the interim, until we can be sure the danger does not follow you, and therefor putting others at risk."

Thadston monotonously asks, "Understood?"

Speaking to Thadston, Irar asks, "I'm being barred from Koar's shrine?"

Thadston monotonously says, "Yes, and the Outpost."

Irar blinks.

Irar asks, "Is this some sort of poor joke?"

Thadston cocks his head at Irar.

Speaking to Thadston, Irar exclaims, "I won't be bullied by phantoms from worshipping at the shrine!"

Irar scoffs.

Thadston monotonously says, "The shrine is closed off."

Thadston monotonously says, "I have asked you stay away from the Outpost until further notice that any possible danger associated to you can be investigated or resolved."

Thadston nods at Irar.

Thadston monotonously says, "Failure to adhere to my commands, will result in your imprisonment in the dungeons."

Irar squints at Thadston.

Speaking to Thadston, Irar says, "You've no authority over a Deacon of the Church."

Thadston monotonously says, "I have all authority needed in my outpost."

Irar scowls at Thadston.

Speaking to Thadston, Irar asks, "What happened to you, man?"

Irar shakes his head.

Thadston monotonously asks, "Do you understand my command?"

Thadston peers quizzically at Irar.

Speaking to Thadston, Irar says, "I understand your words."

A Rare Night When Crux Doesn't (Yet) Deliver A Corpse

Thadston turns to face Cruxophim.

Thadston monotonously says, "Is Cyph's body prepared for transport to the Outpost? I am here to collect."

Speaking politely to Thadston, Cruxophim explains, "Not quite finished as of yet, but I can finalize the preparations soon and send word."

Thadston nods at Cruxophim.

Cruxophim nods understandingly at Thadston.

Thadston monotonously says, "I will come back for the body tomorrow."

Thadston nods at Cruxophim.

Non-Answers

Speaking evenly to Thadston, Cruxophim inquires, "If we are done with pleasantries, do you have any leads on the assault?"

Thadston monotonously says, "No."

Cruxophim nods once at Thadston.

Speaking calmly to Thadston, Cruxophim inquires, "If I may, you received word to return to the Outpost, no? May I inquire from whom?"

Thadston monotonously says, "No you may not."

Speaking concernedly to Thadston, Cruxophim inquires, "We're merely concerned about the results of your efforts?"

Speaking dryly to Thadston, Cruxophim concludes, "But duly noted."

Speaking to Thadston, Ysharra says, "You know the questions will keep coming."

Thadston monotonously says, "It is my business and I do not wish to share it."

Speaking to Thadston, Ysharra says, "If you refuse them all, they'll go to another."

Thadston monotonously says, "Then l-l-let them."

Speaking slowly to Thadston, Raelee suggests, "I believe you are needed back at the Outpost post-haste, no?"

Thadston monotonously says, "Goodnight."

Sir Thadston just marched off to the north.

[lots of discussion and then at last...]

Glistening snowflakes descend from the night sky as a peaceful crispness to the air lingers, ushering in a long, quiet night.
