[Note: out of sheer necessity, these logs are a more "quick and dirty" edit compared to the more full-fledged KST logs. However, this one was more story-relevant than most, so while it's not as comprehensive an edit as story nights, I at least cleaned it up more than usual.]

Log

[Mayor Leafiara's Office]

Silk-cushioned chairs surround a circular cherry red table toward the back of the room. Plush carpets of fake fur blanket the polished oak floor while myriad painted treats span the office's walls, interrupted by an oversized placard. In a back corner, above a brick fireplace, a mounted stag's head watches vigilantly from a distance over a hazelwood dart board near the entryway. A leaf-shaped window invites outside light toward a drink bar that stands beneath a painting. You also see a red forest fox that is sitting, a black-tipped twilight grey wolf that is sitting, a circular ebonwood cart with some stuff on it, a basket of sticks and a tiny two-tiered bookshelf.

Leafiara says, "We'll get started once Fahlo returns from getting coffee."

Fahlo says, "Oh! Ok."

Fahlo just went through a glossy maoral door.

Leafiara says, "That sure got him running."

Allyria says, "Hi all."

Guarrin greets, "Afternoon."

Fahlo just came through a glossy maoral door.

Leafiara amiably greets, "Good afternoon!"

Leafiara says, "Excellent, now that Fahlo's here with coffee we can begin."

Fahlo exclaims, "Sorry!"

Speaking to himself, Fahlo says, "Useless without it."

Leafiara begins, "So first, a review of the current problems facing us..."

Leafiara says, "The 'Blood Son' has come to visit town and start a 'revival' in which he heals people and preaches the word of Grishom Stone."

Leafiara says, "His identity is Malluch Burdos, also known as the former--and first--Rone vigilante."

Leafiara says, "After his escapades in 5118, he was captured, put on trial, and imprisoned..."

Leafiara says, "But while in jail, someone broke in via blood magic and left him blind and insane."

(Khylynnia whistles an innocent tune.)

Leafiara says, "In the time since then, Murdos Burdos--Malluch's father--went to Grishom Stone to ask for healing for him."

Leafiara says, "And he got it."

Leafiara says, "People who have been supportive of his new role as the Blood Son have been drawing blood circles on buildings around town..."

Leafiara says, "Some think they're just decorative, while others like Fahlo here think the circles are part of a coming ritual."

Leafiara says, "Whatever the case, the circles have been resilient to being cleaned off, so... I'm inclined to distrust them."

Leafiara says, "Anyway..."

Shinann says, "Afternoon. Sorry I am late."

Speaking amiably to Shinann, Leafiara says, "Not a worry, we've only just started. We're reviewing."

Leafiara says, "Despite Murdos getting Grishom's help with healing, he regrets that now Malluch seems to be his puppet."

Leafiara says, "So Murdos has asked our help in arranging a meeting between father and son."

Leafiara says, "He wants him relatively alone, at least on Malluch's end--none of his bloodguards that you see camped out in the woods--but more of us to speak with him."

Leafiara says, "So..."

Leafiara says, "One question in everyone's mind is how much of a puppet Malluch actually is."

Speaking to Balley, Leafiara says, "I believe you were the one who said you couldn't sense Grishom's energies in Malluch when he healed you..."

Speaking to Balley, Leafiara asks, "Is that right?"

Balley softly says, "Yes."

Balley softly says, "I did not sense it at all."

Speaking to Leafiara, Shinann asks, "Have you sent a message to Thadston about any of this?"

Balley softly says, "I know he was VERY hesitant to touch me."

Radeek says, "Reckon he's gots more strings'n a triple necked mandolin."

Leafiara says, "And this is my own speculation, but Malluch retelling Grishom's terrible past with the Landing doesn't seem like something Stone would want."

Speaking curiously to Shinann, Leafiara admits, "I haven't yet, no. Do you think he hasn't heard?"

Leafiara says, "I'm still bringing us up to speed, so remind me to come back to the Thadston question shortly.."

Vaemyr asks, "Forgive me as I've been traveling a long time, but didn't we shatter Grishom into a million pieces a few years ago?"

Leafiara wryly says, "Yeah, but he got better."

Vaemyr says, "Figures."

Yardie says, "What a terrible time to come back from the dead."

Speaking to himself, Guarrin mutters, "He has made a rather poor prophet thus far."

Leafiara says, "When Malluch was imprisoned a couple of years ago, a personal item of his was put into storage--a Jastev symbol given to him by his love."

Balley softly says, "I just want to know if Grishom got him out of the jail, or if someone else did. Why no one knew he was missing."

Leafiara says, "I've been trying to get the symbol back if our guards can find it in storage, and we'll try to see if it stirs up anything in Malluch at all."

Guarrin asks, "He didn't possess healing abilities previously, correct?"

Leafiara says, "Ideally we can simply ask Malluch to meet with Murdos and us and he'll agree."

Speaking to Guarrin, Leafiara says, "Correct."

Balley softly asks, "Shinann you think it was an inside release?"

Radeek mutters, "Might be like poking a hornets nest wit' a stick."

Speaking to Leafiara, Shinann says, "You could ask the former mayor."

Speaking to Balley, Shinann says, "I do not know..."

Speaking musingly to Shinann, Leafiara says, "...true. The town guards did take it away, but maybe she knows."

Yardie says, "Pardon me for asking, but do you think this Malluch person will show alone? Sounds like a trap."

Balley softly says, "You would think the Captains would have been told he was missing. That is all I am saying."

Speaking to Yardie, Leafiara says, "We don't. He'll have his bloodguards."

Speaking to Balley, Shinann says, "Town guards had him."

Speaking suspiciously to Balley, Leafiara says, "I agree, something seems weird. I also don't know the timeline." [clarifying: Shinann is right that the town guards--not the militia--had him. So the captains not being told of his absence isn't especially surprising, to her point. Leafi is, rather, agreeing with Balley's more overarching point that someone should have been told he was missing. This gets revisited later during KST proper.]

Leafiara says, "We have no idea how long ago Malluch was broken out of prison."

Yardie says, "Bloodguards."

Balley softly asks, "Do the town guards share information?"

Leafiara says, "Anyway, this brings us to tonight."

Alosaka says, "Blood son, bloodguards... not the most original people."

Leafiara says, "And a more... immediate concern."

Leafiara says, "A caravan of people is on its way hoping for healing from Malluch."

Balley softly says, "I know I did not feel Stone's energy near Malluch when I saw him and when he healed me. I do think there is another agenda or motive behind everything."

Speaking to Alosaka, Fahlo says, "We can't all be in the finals at Bardfest."

Shinann asks, "We do not know if they were put under a spell or what. I assume someone has contacted Khylon, right?"

Yardie says, "I mean, exsanguination battalion doesn't roll off the tongue."

Radeek says, "Dis might soun a bit dumb, but did anyonce checks dat cell ta see if mebbe he still be in der? Woul'nae be da firs' time someone showed up here'bouts dat looked loike someone but weren't dem."

Speaking to Radeek, Leafiara says, "Yes, we did think of the possibility of doppelgangers..."

Balley softly says, "Malluch's eyes were different. They were just like Stone's."

Leafiara says, "It's all a bit confusing, though. Many of the town guards still have a grudge against Malluch for his time as Rone, but no one's said anything one way or another about what's still in the cell if anything."

Leafiara says, "Tonight, Malluch plans to hold the next step of his revival."

Balley softly says, "Malluch's were piercing blue and had a flicker in them I never saw before."

Speaking to Leafiara, Fahlo asks, "Any word where?"

Shinann asks, "So, neither Khylon or Thadston were contacted. Am I correct?"

Leafiara says, "Presumably healing the ill, whoever comes to him."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara asks, "Thadston no. Khylon, over what?"

Shinann says, "Malluch."

Leafiara says, "The town guards are definitely aware Malluch's out and about, if that's what you're asking."

Shinann says, "Khylon's guards had him."

Yardie says, "You'd think they'd go to other healers and not one who has a blood fixation. Quite frightening."

Speaking to Yardie, Leafiara says, "Yes, Rook scouts have indicated that the approaching caravan is full of desperate people..."

Balley softly asks, "Do you think Khylon's involved in this?"

Leafiara says, "Which brings me to tonight."

Shinann says, "No."

Balley softly says, "Good."

Speaking to Yardie, Radeek says, "A man were elected mayor what had a thing fer blood...ain't ne'er stopped no one roun' here."

Draelor says, "Sounds like those poor folk are about to be in the middle of something."

Speaking curiously to Leafiara, Khobra inquires, "Vhy doez Fahlo think the circlez are part of a coming ritual oppoze to vhatever they could be meant for?"

Leafiara says, "The Rooks want to intercept the caravan and stop it from entering town, before the people seeking healing end up becoming more pawns of Stone."

Speaking to Khobra, Leafiara says, "You'll have to ask him, or Hapenlok since they're the two theorizing it."

Radeek says, "Dat'd be a mistake."

Balley softly says, "Mother's request seemed off too Mayor. Why would she care about the caravan. She has not cared much about others coming to town."

Speaking to Leafiara, Shinann asks, "Who contacted them?"

Shinann asks, "The Rooks?"

Speaking to Khobra, Fahlo says, "Which is largely what it is, just speculation.. though."

Speaking to Balley, Leafiara says, "I agree, it seems like she's reacting uncharacteristically."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara says, "To intercept the caravan, no one. I was going to let them into town."

Leafiara says, "Now we have a dilemma, though."

Speaking curiously to Fahlo, Khobra inquires, "Bazed upon, vhat?"

Leafiara says, "Obviously, the choice for freedom here is to just let the caravan pass."

Yardie says, "But who knows what else you'd bring in."

Yardie says, "Quite the conundrum."

Leafiara says, "However, that means we end up standing against the Rooks, who are our citizens, and there are safety concerns."

Speaking to Khobra, Fahlo asks, "Based on what do I think the circles painted in blood around town could be more than just graffiti?"

Guarrin asks, "Why wouldn't they join the existing camp?"

Leafiara says, "Even if the people don't end up pawns of Stone, they could infect the town."

Yardie asks, "Infect?"

Speaking to Guarrin, Leafiara says, "Also a good question."

Shinann asks, "Did you tell them not to intercept the caravan? Why are they even involved?"

Speaking to Yardie, Leafiara says, "Remember, they're coming for healing of ailments that they couldn't get healed of elsewhere."

Yardie says, "I'm too fragile for infection."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara says, "No, I didn't tell them not to intercept. That's the question we're facing right now."

Leafiara says, "This is the strangest part of it to me."

Vaemyr says, "Any possibility that we could try to bring our own healers to the caravan, that might open up some opportunities for us."

Speaking to Khobra, Fahlo says, "Well, you know I'm no blood magician, to be honest- though I'm seeing a pattern develop that is unsettling to me. But it's all speculation."

Leafiara says, "Until now, Mother has always seemed to ride the wave of public opinion."

Speaking softly to Shinann, Balley says, "Mother came last evening to ask us to deny them and turn the caravan around and not let them in town."

Leafiara says, "Until now, she's always waited for public opinion to form, then does whatever she thinks will garner her favor."

Leafiara says, "But the town is divided on the Blood Son and she's still stepping in ahead of the curve... as it were."

Balley softly says, "I want to know what she is soo afraid of from the caravan."

Guarrin asks, "Why?"

Speaking to Balley, Leafiara says, "She said she was worried of another Chaston situation."

Shinann says, "Mother does not run the town."

Speaking to Leafiara, Fahlo says, "Sounds like she's seeing something we're not."

Leafiara says, "That being, I assume.... like in the past when Chaston's followers gathered in town and we ended up fighting one another."

Leafiara says, "Citizen to citizen."

Balley softly says, "I think she is afraid or threatened by Malluch."

Speaking to Fahlo, Leafiara says, "I agree, but the question is whether she's seeing perceptions or reality."

Yardie asks, "Fighting. You mean, with words, yes?"

Radeek says, "Fears a funny thing...makes ya not right in da head an' gives mos' folks a case of da stupids."

Fahlo says, "There's always that."

Leafiara says, "Being blunt for a moment..."

Leafiara asks, "I know many of you have suspected Mother's identity for a while, right?"

Leafiara says, "A certain councilwoman who used to be involved with the Rooks was called the Mother back then."

Leafiara says, "And along comes another one called Mother."

Leafiara asks, "Is she the same or a different one?"

Radeek says, "Mebbe a bitta both."

Leafiara says, "Until now I always thought she was different because it would be foolish to wear a mask and come back under the same name."

Pukk says, "I think it's Stormyrain."

Speaking wryly to Pukk, Leafiara says, "No."

Leafiara says, "If she really is our councilwoman Alendrial, then her... quick reaction to this caravan because of the past with Chaston makes more sense."

Leafiara says, "Or at least it would explain things."

Speaking to Pukk, Radeek says, "Stormy ain't got a deep enough mean streak ta be Mother."

Pukk says, "I kinda like Mother."

Speaking amusedly to Pukk, Leafiara says, "Yeah, we know."

The voice of Faerinn says, "Why hold them when they can be delayed."

Radeek mutters, "Mother issues."

Leafiara says, "So furthering this..."

Speaking to Faerinn, Leafiara says, "Let me circle back to that in a second."

Speaking to Radeek, Pukk says, "I usually have daddy issues."

Yardie asks, "Don't we all?"

Leafiara says, "Mother's also offered to attempt to pull Malluch aside for us for questioning, *if* we stand down as she and the Rooks try to turn away the caravan."

Balley softly says, "Why do we need Mother's help to get Malluch alone? Like Mother said last night. I think we could convince him to talk to us alone."

Yardie says, "Thank you kindly."

Speaking to Balley, Leafiara says, "It's entirely possible we could."

Shinann asks, "She does not control our actions. Why is she calling the shots?"

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara says, "She isn't. That's why we're discussing this."

Speaking to Leafiara, Guarrin asks, "Kidnapping, if we give in to her demands?"

Shinann asks, "Who contacted her?"

Shinann asks, "To begin with?"

Pukk says, "She came in the dark of the night."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara says, "I contacted her."

Shinann says, "I see."

Leafiara says, "This wasn't the plan, though."

Alosaka asks, "And she operates under some color of the law?"

Leafiara says, "The plan was a couple of smoke bombs. Her counteroffer is... a bit over the top."

Leafiara says, "The caravan, I was willing to allow in town despite the safety concerns."

Balley softly exclaims, "I think we forget what Mother said, and do it our way!"

Shinann says, "You passed up Thadston and Khylon in favor of the Rooks."

Shinann just left.

Leafiara slowly says, "I see she's not a fan..."

Shinann just arrived.

Speaking to Shinann, Pukk exclaims, "Welcome back!"

Balley softly says, "I do not think we need to listen to Mother."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara asks, "Well... yes. How could the militia or guards have helped in this case?"

Leafiara says, "He escaped the guards and the prison."

Shinann asks, "You passed up consulting with Khylon or Thadston and went directly to the Rooks?"

Leafiara clarifies, "I asked to borrow a couple of smoke bombs, yes. I didn't ask for their intervention."

Balley softly says, "How do we know she was not one who helped Malluch get away or escape."

Leafiara says, "With Malluch nor the caravan."

Guarrin asks, "What...did you plan to do with smoke bombs? Out of curiousity?"

Speaking to Guarrin, Pukk says, "We were going to plant them in Solhaven and set them off."

Speaking to Guarrin, Leafiara says, "Okay, briefly reviewing... we're trying to get Malluch and Murdos in contact."

Leafiara says, "Along with most of us."

Leafiara says, "Ideally we persuade him."

Vaemyr says, "Without all of Malluch's fanatics around preferably."

Yardie says, "To think, all those gem demands from Murdos, and he's involved in this. I feel ripped off."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Severine asks, "What is the objective of that meeting?"

Leafiara says, "If we can't persuade him, then the remaining options I see are either we let him go about building an army for Stone or we try to remove him from the bloodguard and question him."

Speaking to Leafiara, Guarrin asks, "Why not just ask him if he would speak to his father directly? Do we think that this conversation will change Malluch's stance?"

Leafiara says, "The challenge is not starting a riot with his followers if we try to press Malluch for information, so the smoke bomb idea was to cause a diversion and get him away."

Speaking to Guarrin, Leafiara says, "That is the first plan, like I just said."

Leafiara slowly says, "Let me ask this, because I'm curious."

Leafiara says, "I think most people in this room are actually far *more* opposed to Grishom Stone and his war on the gods than I am."

[all reactions to this (relatively few that there are) are shown below]

Alosaka shrugs.

Leafiara asks, "Would you let Malluch keep doing what he's doing?"

Vaemyr shrugs.

Radeek chuckles.

Shinann folds her arms over her chest.

Alosaka says, "I don't think the gods need our help dealing with Grishom Stone."

Radeek mutters, "Unnerstatement of da year."

Leafiara says, "If you think I'm wrong in trying to disrupt Stone and Malluch, I'm all ears."

Pukk glances at Leafiara.

Pukk squints.

Radeek raises his hand.

Vaemyr says, "I personally wouldn't care, however I heavily doubt our town here will be unscathed given Stone's past."

Leafiara says, "I'm a little biased here because I still feel guilty over what happened to Malluch years ago."

Vaemyr says, "He's likely to want to sacrifice us all to make two more of his perfect golems."'

Draelor says, "Don't think you've got much of a choice but to try and defuse this thing before it blows up."

Leafiara says, "So I'm relying on all of you, not just myself."

Leafiara says, "Or at least trying to."

Leafiara nods at Vaemyr.

Khobra casually observes her surroundings.

Khobra smiles quietly to herself.

[no further reactions]

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "Kinda has somethin I wanna says, if dats a'right."

Leafiara says, "It *is* an option to let the caravan pass, and let Malluch keep doing what he's doing."

Speaking amiably to Radeek, Leafiara says, "Please do."

Alosaka asks, "That said, isn't Grishom Stone a criminal and murderer?"

Radeek says, "First off, some of ya knows me, some of ya's don't. Fer dem what don' knows me, m'name's General Radeek Andoran, second in command of da Drakes Vanguard, an' over da las' couple a decades I has paid m'dues, in blood, by fightin fer dis town, so I'd 'preciate a couple minutes a yer time an' listenin' skills."

Balley softly says, "I still think it is strange Stone needs someone like Malluch at all. Stone is not shy to tell everyone how great he thinks he is."

Speaking to Alosaka, Vaemyr says, "That's putting it a bit lightly, but yes."

Pukk says, "I say, we throw Eyona at them and while they are distracted we kidna......we take Malluch into custody and let Shinann question him for a bit."

Eyona blinks at Pukk.

Radeek says, "Dem what knows me pretty much knows I ain' much good at speakin' in fronta folks, an' I don't does it too often, so bears wit' me. I don't speaks m'mind mos' times an kinda jus' does m'own thing when it comes ta protectin' dis town. But I reckon now be da time ta changes m'ways, jus' a wee bit."

Eyona buries her face in her hands.

Radeek says, "Da free town a Wehnimers Landin b'longs ta alla you folks what be a'standin here, an' it were fought an paid fer wit' yer blood an' mine, thru a buncha battles'n wars, over many, many years."

Radeek says, "Bein dat dis be a free town, I says ya lets deez wagon folks in. After all, ain't dat what we all fought fer? Ain't dat what free means? It ain't free fer jus' us, but anyone a'comin roun' lookin' fer dat same freedom."

Radeek says, "Now, I ain't sayin ya shoul' let em run roughshod over da whole town, no, I reckon I ain't sayin' dat a'tall. Ya'll coul' set aside a place where dey can meets dis Blood Son feller. Mebbe Hearthstone er some such place. I does know though, that if'n ya don' lets 'em in free'n clear den yer opening yerself up fer a fight, an' dis here towns seen enough a dat fer awhile I reckon."

Balley softly says, "I suggested right outside the gates."

Yardie asks, "It's quite the risk. I mean, you all took me in. Who am I to say who you should and shouldn't let in?"

Radeek says, "Ya makes it known to da militia dat dey hasta has increased patrols 'bouts town, but only ta maintain da peace, not ta be a'wreckin' it. Dis here be all 'bouts keepin' da peace, an' not feedin' da Blood Son none a our blood."

Radeek says, "I knows dis town, mebbe not as well as some, but I reckon I knows it better'n most. Dis town can fight when it hasta, but ever' time when it fights it a'ways be payin' a heavy price. We hasta be askin' ourselfs if'n we is ready ta pays dat price now, er if'n we even hasta."

Radeek says, "We gots ta be careful, dis here be Blood Magic, an' powerful Blood Magic at dat."

Radeek says, "Dis town, strong as ya'll reckon it might be, can't stand up ta Blood Magic, an' neither can mosta us what fights fer it, so, if'n ya chooses ta fights, vict'ry's a gonna come at a high price, if'n it comes at all."

Radeek says, "Ye'd bes' be makin' sure yer a'willin ta pays dat price, an' alla da pain an' sufferin' what goes alon' wit' it. Ya can bet yer hin'parts der's gonna be a lotta both."

Radeek says, "Make yer choice an' stands by it. Stays da course an don' wavers. Yer friends an' comrades in arms'll sees ya through."

Yardie says, "Personally, I just want to say that it's been rumored that my blood tastes terrible."

Radeek says, "Dat be all I hasta says."

Leafiara says, "Thank you. A very well laid-out case."

Shinann says, "I agree."

Speaking to Radeek, Guarrin says, "Fine points. These are allegedly ill individuals, at least, if Stone and Malluch cannot aid them, perhaps our healers can."

Speaking to Faerinn, Leafiara says, "Ah, welcome back."

Faerinn says, "Yes, are we back to the caravan."

Speaking to Faerinn, Leafiara says, "Your question earlier was whether we could delay it, yes."

Balley softly says, "I say we do not stop them, but keep them outside the gate. The people can come and go but outside the gate we can keep the locals safe inside the gate."

Faerinn says, "Thadston is no fan of Grishom, and they are sick."

Balley softly says, "If we keep them at the gate, and something goes wrong. It will be easier to defend the town."

Balley softly says, "Than if they get inside the gate."

Shinann says, "If they are peaceful, they can enter."

Faerinn says, "Delay them for a couple of weeks under the pretense of quarantine."

Faerinn says, "With our own guard."

Faerinn asks, "Is it really even that much of a pretense at this point?"

Pukk says, "Oh yeah. Sleepy is good at guarding."

Vaemyr asks, "Perhaps there are other things to look at though, while they meet with Malluch, I suspect that his healing and this overall ritual are related, and I know some of us have been investigating the blood circles around. Perhaps there would be some type of reaction in them during that time that we could notice?"

Speaking musingly to Faerinn, Leafiara says, "But then won't Malluch simply stick around another couple of weeks? I'm not sure that's what we want."

Radeek says, "Ya know...way back when, der was dis disease call'd da red rot...made a buncha dwarves sick...me an' a buncha other folks did a whole mess a'foragin fer herbs an' such. Wound up curin it too...mabbe we coul' take a page outta dat hist'ry book..."

Alosaka says, "I think someone already suggested simply kicking the Blood Son out. Let him go to the caravan."

Faerinn says, "Malluch can't meet with them. Nor can anyone during the quarantine."

Fahlo asks, "Just to clarify- we're saying that Malluch has to hold his ritual, revival.. outside the gates, that right?"

Speaking to Alosaka, Radeek says, "An' lose what control we has over him."

Speaking to Fahlo, Leafiara says, "That's the consensus so far."

Fahlo asks, "And if he refuses?"

Faerinn says, "I think Malluch is working within a time limit. Stone comes next week."

Alosaka says, "He's one man."

Fahlo says, "One man with an army."

Radeek says, "Can't let him outta town..leastways here ya knows whar he be."

Leafiara says, "We also don't know how much of Stone's power he has."

Alosaka asks, "So shall we just cower before him?"

Leafiara admits, "He did say, when arriving, that they wouldn't bring trouble and didn't expect any."

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "If he ain't got it all he soon will has."

Faerinn says, "Two weeks is plenty of delay to keep him from having sacrifices, I mean, followers for the ritual."

Shinann says, "I thought that was the agreement from the start. He stays outside for his faith healing."

Speaking to Faerinn, Leafiara says, "Ah, right, that was Hap's concern as well..."

Leafiara says, "That these followers are just going to end up being sacrifices for another Stone ritual."

Fahlo says, "Last I saw him he was in the gates at the museum.."

Shinann says, "However, if the Rooks are heading out to meet this caravan, that is aggression from our town."

Leafiara asks, "However, it goes back to Radeek's point... do we let people in freely, even knowing how badly things can go?"

Alosaka says, "He seems to be comfortably inside our gates."

Leafiara says, "I was always inclined to let Malluch work his healing magic, because that's respecting others' freedom."

Alosaka dryly says, "His blood magic, you mean."

Leafiara says, "It might go horribly wrong, but a bad outcome doesn't make an action wrong, I'd say."

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "At least in da gates ya can keep sa closer watch on em..mebbe even learn somethin."

Speaking to Alosaka, Leafiara says, "Yes. His blood magic healing."

Alosaka says, "Granted, apparently, by Grishom Stone, the murderer."

Yardie says, "Again, I'm not one to tell someone who to let it and who not to let in. But I presume there will be contingencies."

Speaking to Radeek, Leafiara says, "That was how Balley put it too."

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr says, "While we don't prosecute those that might summon minor demons anymore either, we still don't let them just wander around town." [well, we kinda do, actually, but...]

Faerinn says, "He might be able to bust them out of quarantine with Stone's help, but we're at least making them work for it this way."

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "Smart gal."

Leafiara says, "This is almost a total turnaround from the crowd last night, who were all in support of refusing the caravan."

Radeek says, "Ya know...."

Speaking to Faerinn, Guarrin admits, "It could buy some time."

Fahlo says, "Divide an conquer."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Khobra remarks, "Itz the townzhip."

Speaking to Guarrin, Faerinn says, "Time Malluch probably doesn't have."

Faerinn says, "Blood magic is so sensitive."

Radeek says, "Why not put em up in dat herb garden on da eas' side a town...plenty ta forage, off by itself, an' easy ta control access to."

Speaking to Faerinn, Guarrin says, "Spend that time letting Malluch dig himself into more trouble."

Leafiara says, "I admit, I'm a little reluctant to delay people from seeking healing. Either fully let them in or fully refuse them is my inclination...."

Speaking to Leafiara, Shinann says, "Not to belabor the pint, but the Rooks are heading out to that caravan. Aggression from our town that will appear we condone the actions, no matter what they do."

Balley softly says, "Yes."

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "Age ol' question herebouts....ta fight er not ta fight."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara clarifies, "So you'd like me to ask them to stand down in this case."

Draelor says, "If these folk are as ill as you say, standing between them and what they feel is their only option for healing may end badly."

Balley softly exclaims, "Think you need to tell Mother to stand down!"

Shinann says, "Yes."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara asks, "If they say no?"

Leafiara says, "Actually... I suppose it doesn't matter if they say no."

Shinann says, "I did not invite them to this."

Balley softly asks, "Tell Mother to run for mayor?"

Leafiara says, "This is all happening outside the gates, so there's no law to enforce."

Balley softly says, "So she can make the decisions."

Leafiara says, "Only ideals, like freedom."

Yardie says, "I like our Mayor. I don't want a Mayor named Mother."

Fahlo asks, "I don't believe anyone invited them to do this.. isn't that right?"

Balley softly says, "I agree."

Speaking to Fahlo, Leafiara says, "That is correct."

Balley softly says, "Mother has NO RIGHT to tell us what to do."

Leafiara says, "The caravan was going to pass without incident, at least presumably."

Shinann says, "I did not go around the Marshal and Town Guard Captain to try to secure Malluch. I see it as you leaving us out of the plans, but including the Rooks."

Leafiara says, "Maybe she always planned this."

Leafiara frowns at Shinann.

Shinann says, "I do."

Speaking to Balley, Radeek says, "Wit' da Rook card She sorta has all da right she needs."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara says, "That wasn't my intent. I didn't want their direct aid."

Shinann says, "Nor ours."

Faerinn says, "Mother charging out to blockade a caravan and we don't try to stop her is basically condoning it."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara says, "In fact, I'm pretty sure I specifically asked then not to intervene."

Shinann says, "I will say it again. You did not contact Thadston. So, you did not want the militia's help."

Balley softly says, "I do not trust Mother or the Rooks."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara says, "That is true, I didn't want to risk militia or guard lives on this. I wanted it to be our strongest adventurers."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara says, "If I'm wrong in that, so be it."

Radeek says, "Keeps in mind, da Rooks fights fer what dey see Wehnimers Landing be, an how dey wants it ta be...dat ain't da way most a us sees dis town."

Radeek says, "Which makes em more dangerous den most."

Leafiara says, "Alright. Then the plan for tonight is to put a stop to the Rooks and let the caravan in."

Leafiara says, "Never mind that it might advance Stone's plans."

Leafiara says, "It's a matter of free choice."

Pukk says, "Militia and guards are for protecting the town right? But if we contact them outside of our town's influence, then we shouldn't use them."

Leafiara asks, "Is that the consensus?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Fahlo says, "Gotta say, I'm my way on this one."

Radeek says, "Fer one thing, I'd let deez folks in, welcome em wit' open arms in fact..jus' ta shows Mother an da Rooks who be da boss here."

Speaking curiously to Fahlo, Leafiara asks, "Your way is what?"

Speaking to Radeek, Pukk asks, "So you would do that just to spite Mother eh?"

Fahlo says, "Figuring out if that is Malluch, not letting Stone's influence spread around, keeping in check the bloodguard army at the gates.."

Speaking to Pukk, Radeek says, "Not spite, more like a wrist slap."

Fahlo says, "Keeping an eye on those circles."

Fahlo exclaims, "My goodness!"

Fahlo says, "I'm telling you.."

Leafiara says, "I really think this is liable to bolster the Rooks' support, if anything. They'll be seen by some citizens as having tried to do something."

Leafiara says, "However..."

Fahlo says, "If they start moving down the eastern side of town.."

Fahlo says, "We're in for it."

Radeek says, "Deal wit' dis issue, den da next, den Stone...one pro'lem at a time."

Leafiara says, "In my view, doing what's right doesn't always depend on the outcome."

Leafiara says, "It's based on what we know and believe in the here and now."

Balley softly says, "As I said last night, we get more flies or information with honey or polite friendly contact than we would with aggression."

Leafiara says, "We can't see the future perfectly."

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "Mos' times right hurts more..."

Speaking to Leafiara, Guarrin agrees, "That is correct."

Leafiara asks, "How do we get Malluch, then?"

Shinann says, "I will try to help with Malluch, since I have been talking with Murdos for two years about him."

Leafiara says, "That's the remaining question."

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "Hows da towns food stores..if'n ya coul' feed deez folks comin in it might makes some friends."

Fahlo says, "I hate to be the Hap in the room, but I'm not letting Stone get his foot in the door- I don't care what it takes."

Faerinn says, "We're soon getting a nice boost in food coming from Mist Harbor soon."

Speaking to Radeek, Leafiara says, "We're still somewhat recovering from the blight, but that's not a bad idea. Goat suggested similar."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Balley says, "I think we should let the Militia try to get Malluch to talk to his father."

Speaking to Fahlo, Guarrin asks, "Do you have a way to travel back a decade or so then?"

Speaking to Fahlo, Shinann says, "I do not want Stone here either."

Speaking to Guarrin, Fahlo says, "Ok, well then two feet in the door.. you get the point."

Leafiara says, "Technically Malluch *is* still supposed to be in custody, so asking the militia or town guard to act isn't out of the question."

Shinann says, "If anyone thinks that someone who styles himself as a god is anything but insane... well..."

Speaking to Fahlo, Vaemyr says, "Agreed, Stone burned his bridges, I won't trust anything he says or does."

Yardie says, "Or a narcissist."

Leafiara asks, "So Fahlo, Vaemyr, Alosaka, as well as Hapenlok who's not here--and Berost, for that matter--are in favor of turning away the caravan?"

Speaking to Fahlo, Pukk says, "No, no, no. You need to be more gruff when you say that and threaten to burn down everything to make sure that they don't. Then you will need to tell everybody that you saw this coming and then spend 20 minutes telling us about something that happened in the past."

Leafiara says, "While Faerinn argues for delaying it."

Leafiara asks, "The rest want it allowed to pass. Is that right?"

Alosaka says, "I take no position on the caravan."

Speaking to Pukk, Fahlo says, "I'll try harder."

Yardie says, "I also take no position, as it wouldn't be right to make that judgment."

Speaking reluctantly to Pukk, Fahlo asks, "I mean.. I'll burn it down?"

Speaking to Fahlo, Guarrin asks, "While I agree with the sentiment, that is a dangerous path. To sacrifice what one, or a town, stands for in exchange for ..what? Turning away the sick?"

Alosaka says, "I am only concerned with Grishom."

Balley softly says, "I say let it pass, we will be ready if it goes south."

Pukk says, "Something like that."

Pukk says, "Just with more gruffness and sound angry all the time."

Pukk says, "Scowl constantly."

Speaking to Guarrin, Fahlo says, "The sick can still be dealt with- we can meet them where they are at.. we have plenty of talented empaths here in our city."

Leafiara says, "So extensive patrols tonight, ready to act at a moment's notice if things go wrong."

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr says, "I'm torn, I don't wish to turn away the caravan, because I respect their freedom, but being idle bothers me as well."

Pukk says, "And then flirt with Shinann."

Speaking to Guarrin, Fahlo says, "No need to invite trouble."

Pukk says, "That is how you do a Hapenlok impression."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Leafiara says, "It doesn't have to be idle just because we allow them into town."

Faerinn says, "Considering guards are annoyed with his presence instead of upset, I think Malluch was let out by quasi legal means."

Draelor says, "I feel like the folks in the caravan should be given whatever aid possible, none of this is their fault."

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "Put on yer mayor hat, go meet dem folks, an' welcome em like dey is long lost family."

Speaking to Faerinn, Leafiara muses, "True, it's curious why they haven't moved to arrest him again if he's still supposed to be in prison..."

Speaking to Draelor, Yardie asks, "You think so?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Faerinn asks, "Which council member do you think would take a bribe from Grishom Stone?"

Leafiara says, "...very well."

Leafiara says, "We step up patrols tonight."

Speaking to Draelor, Fahlo says, "I believe the sick should be attended too as well. And I believe our city has the means to do that. We can also attend to them directly at their encampment."

Speaking to Yardie, Draelor says, "I wouldn't be here if my people hadn't been given aid when they needed it."

Speaking to Leafiara, Faerinn asks, "Or which judge?"

Balley softly says, "None of this was an issue until Mother stuck her nose in it."

Leafiara says, "The Rooks can't turn the caravan away."

Speaking to Balley, Leafiara says, "That much is true."

Leafiara says, "I..."

Speaking to Draelor, Yardie says, "I still have much to learn about your people...or mine for that matter."

Speaking to Balley, Radeek says, "Mother be another issue fer another time...it'll be soon enuff."

Balley softly says, "So we should not listen or give her that power to tell us what to do."

Leafiara says, "If she doesn't stand down, things might turn violent."

Speaking to Balley, Radeek says, "Dat ones gonna fall hard."

Leafiara asks, "Are you prepared to fight against our own?"

[reactions shown...]

Khobra agrees with you.

Balley softly exclaims, "I say to that, Bring it ON!"

Shinann sighs.

Khobra casually observes her surroundings.

Speaking to Leafiara, Faerinn says, "That was a chance as soon as she invited herself in."

Leafiara asks, "Does everyone else agree with that?"

Shinann says, "This all could have been avoided."

Fahlo asks, "Fight against the Rooks?"

Severine fidgets.

Yardie says, "To fight? I'm not much of a fighter, honestly."

[noticeable pause]

Leafiara furrows her brow.

Leafiara asks, "...everyone hopes she'll stand down when asked, then?"

For no apparent reason, Pukk looks rather uncomfortable.

Khobra casually observes her surroundings.

Yardie nods at Pukk.

Leafiara glances expectantly around the room.

[reactions are over]

Shinann says, "I will go try to contact Thadston, but not sure will get to him in time. He will not be happy he was bypassed in all of this."

Balley softly says, "I think you need to tell her STAY OUT OF IT."

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "Not much choice...m'opinion be dat da Rooks stopped bein' "our own" when dey stopped listenin ta who's s'posed ta be in charge here."

Speaking to Balley, Leafiara says, "I will, after we're done here."

Speaking to Balley, Leafiara says, "The question is whether we can back that up at all."

Pukk says, "I'm good either way."

Fahlo says, "If the town could be put on a coin right now it'd be a red circle on one side a red rook on the other."

Leafiara says, "Regardless of what Radeek says, they *are* our citizens still."

Balley softly says, "The Rooks attack in their robes.. tell the people to go after the robes."

Guarrin says, "Citizens taking town decisions into their own hands, seemingly."

Fahlo says, "Getting into it with the Rooks will drive the wedge deeper."

Leafiara says, "Bloodshed might be impossible to avoid."

Shinann says, "I would like to be able to stop them without bloodshed."

Leafiara says, "I'm not saying this to dissuade anyone."

Balley softly says, "If they are citizens they need to listen to the Mayor."

Leafiara says, "Only to face the ramifications."

Pukk asks, "I wonder what Thadston would do?"

Leafiara says, "I cannot harm them. I will not."

Shinann says, "I did not invite them to this... I did not ask for help from them. My Marshal was not apprised of the situation."

Leafiara says, "Nor will I stop any of you if you choose to."

Leafiara says, "If it comes to this."

Vaemyr says, "There has to be some compromise with them, I'd prefer us not to fracture our citizens more than we already are, because that will only weaken us for what might follow all of this."

Radeek says, "Der's gonna be blood fer sure....Malluch'll see ta dat."

Speaking to Radeek, Fahlo says, "Stone, rather."

Speaking to Fahlo, Radeek says, "Dat's m'guess too."

Fahlo says, "When your head starts spinning around and there is no good option.. good sign Stone is in the thick of things."

Shinann says, "I am sorry that I have been away but was trying to keep a new mother alive."

Speaking to Shinann, Leafiara says, "I didn't ask them for help either, unless a few smoke bombs count. I asked them to leave it to us. But... I am sorry I didn't check in with you."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk says, "From now on, all decisions you make must be cleared."

Speaking to Shinann, Fahlo asks, "Is she well?"

Leafiara muses, "I suppose one thing I said earlier was wrong..."

Shinann says, "She and the baby pulled through... thankfully."

Leafiara says, "This *was* still an opportunistic move from Mother, even if not riding public opinion."

Speaking to Shinann, Fahlo says, "Good work."

Leafiara says, "I asked for smoke bombs and she wanted to escalate in a way to advance the Brotherhood."

Shinann says, "I am sorry... I need to go send my message to Thadston."

Shinann bows.

Shinann just went through a glossy maoral door.

Speaking to Leafiara, Fahlo asks, "Advance in a way that the town needs them more?"

Speaking to Fahlo, Leafiara says, "No, more a matter of... bolstering their reputation."

Leafiara says, "It's what Faerinn said earlier. If we don't step in, then we're implicitly condoning their actions and them."

Leafiara says, "Lending them more credibility."

Balley softly says, "Still do not know Mother cares this much about Malluch and the Caravan and why she wants to be soo involved."

Speaking to Leafiara, Fahlo asks, "Any way to contact Mother before the revival?"

Speaking to Fahlo, Leafiara says, "I will try."

Speaking to Balley, Radeek says, "Ya can bet she's after somethin' dis caravan has, be it person er thing...der's somethin she wants."

Speaking to Leafiara, Fahlo says, "Cause it sounds like half the city will be hunting them and the other half helping."

Speaking to Balley, Khylynnia asks, "To be honest, I say the same thing about everyone...Why does everyone here seem to care so much about the caravan and why do you all want to be sooooo involved?"

Yardie asks, "How much time do we have before their arrival?"

Speaking to Fahlo, Leafiara agrees, "It does seem that way. Could be ugly."

Speaking to Yardie, Leafiara says, "Probably less than eight hours."

Balley softly says, "I really do not have concern of the caravan."

Leafiara says, "I don't either. I was going to allow it in."

Balley softly says, "My concern is Malluch."

Radeek mutters, "Ya mean Stone."

Speaking to Khylynnia, Faerinn says, "Do we want to be the town that sets assassins on visitors? I don't think anyone wants to be known for that."

Balley softly says, "Something is off with him, and I do not think he is under Stone's control. I also think Malluch is up to something."

Allyria says, "Don't suppose an aid station could be set up outside the gates nearby? It would seem welcoming without being quarantining."

Khylynnia says, "My thoughts are, as long as their arrival does not hinder my ability to do what I want to do around town, let it be."

Balley softly says, "Stone is his own problem."

Speaking to Allyria, Leafiara says, "It's a bit much to achieve in under eight hours, but we could try."

Speaking to Khylynnia, Faerinn says, "That's remarkably narrow. I guess others have empathy."

Speaking to Balley, Leafiara says, "I agree, Malluch has his own agenda--somehow."

Radeek says, "Wouldn't it be jus' too funny if Mother was Stone...I'd laugh like a tickled tart."

Yardie says, "Gives us time to prepare."

Speaking quietly to Radeek, Fahlo says, "I think it's Pukk."

Radeek mutters, "Not dat I knows how a tickled tart laughs...."

Speaking to Faerinn, Khylynnia says, "Empathy? Why should I provide empathy for others when none has been provided for me? I made myself who I am today. Let them do the same for themselves."

Vaemyr says, "I hope Malluch still has an agenda, my fear is he's playing right into Stone and just ends up another sacrifice after he's played his part."

Faerinn says, "I don't have time to teach you to care for others."

Speaking to Faerinn, Khylynnia says, "I never asked you to."

'Speaking to Vaemyr, Leafiara says, "That's why we have to know what he thinks when he's away from his bloodguards, I believe."

Speaking to Khylynnia, Yardie says, "Without some sort of empathy, I'd still be out in the cold of Icemule, as a rotting corpse."

Speaking to Faerinn, Khylynnia says, "So let's just leave it at that."

Balley softly says, "I think Malluch is trying to be like Stone and be a copycat."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Leafiara says, "Whatever he's up to, he might not be able to say it right now."'

Speaking to Khylynnia, Faerinn asks, "Then why the questions?"

Speaking to Khylynnia, Yardie says, "I'm all about self-preservation, yes. But I'm not heartless."

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek asks, "If you was him, woul' ya go anywhar's whi'out dem guards?"

Speaking to Radeek, Leafiara says, "It depends how far his healing abilities really extend. Some claim he's immortal."

Leafiara wryly says, "Which makes it really ironic that he has so many guards."

Speaking to Faerinn, Khylynnia asks, "The question was why is everyone concerned about the caravan and allowing it in. Let them in. As I said, as long as it does not stop the city from functioning, what is the harm?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "Immortal...mebbe...stupid? No way."

Speaking to Radeek, Vaemyr says, "If he truly has his own agenda, getting away from his guards might be exactly what he wants. So there is a possibility."

Speaking in Elven to Leafiara, Eyona adds, "Things like that.. they aren't free."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Radeek says, "His agenda mirrors Stones...guarantees it."

Draelor says, "Seems like separating him from his guards is just asking for someone to take a run at him. That's not ending well."

Speaking to Draelor, Yardie says, "Agreed."

Speaking to Draelor, Fahlo says, "Possibly.. last thing we need is a martyr to a blood god."

Speaking to Draelor, Leafiara says, "Even if they do, it might be a better end than leaving him alone."

Faerinn says, "Well it looks like some kind of plan is in place. I'll skip the bickering."

Faerinn just went through a glossy maoral door.

Balley softly says, "Why does he need to be away from his guards to talk to his father."

Speaking to Balley, Yardie asks, "Less imposing, I presume?"

Speaking musingly to Balley, Leafiara says, "Well, I suppose he doesn't *have* to be, but Murdos didn't seem to trust the guards."

Radeek says, "Has anyone ever ask'd Malluch what HE wants? Not what Stone wants..might be a good question ta asks."

Leafiara says, "However, I guess if we're all there along with the guards.."

Speaking to Radeek, Leafiara says, "No, he stays secluded away in his tent until he comes out for his rituals."

Leafiara says, "That said..."

Leafiara says, "Malluch did try to speak with Murdos before, but Murdos was too ashamed to see him and turned him away."

Balley softly says, "I do just tell him GO see your dad."

Leafiara says, "So it's possible we can just ask him again, now that Murdos has changed his mind."

Leafiara says, "That would be the easiest, best case scenario."

Vaemyr says, "With this discussion though, I do wonder if the bloodguards are really there to "guard" Malluch, or to "chain" him perhaps both."

Radeek asks, "Ya know..I knows a bit about blood magic...if dis here Malluch uses others blood fer his own power, he gits stronger....what happens when Stone shows up an' bleeds out Malluch?"

Speaking to Radeek, Yardie asks, "When?"

Speaking to Yardie, Radeek says, "In two weeks, by Malluch's reckonin."

Speaking to Radeek, Vaemyr says, "I don't think we want that to happen."

Yardie says, "No, we don't. I don't like blood of any kind."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Radeek says, "Ya has two weeks ta figger it out...den da blood god comes."

Leafiara wryly says, "Can't wait for that one."

Yardie says, "I can."

Speaking to Leafiara, Fahlo says, "Well this turned into something different than I had anticipated."

Balley softly says, "There are many Bloodmages in this town. Many would stop him if they wanted to."

Draelor says, "Blood magic seems a whole nother level of things I want no part of."

Speaking to Fahlo, Leafiara says, "I'm surprised too. Last night everyone was all for turning the caravan away."

Yardie says, "I will be shrouded in shadows. I don't deal well with deities or magic, in general, let alone blood."

Balley softly says, "I was not."

Leafiara says, "Well, true, Balley wasn't. Just most were."

Balley softly says, "But many were afraid of Mother."

Leafiara says, "Even Goblyn backed away from her, which is... odd."

Radeek says, "Tis funny, I were lookin inta da bowl a bit earlier...showed a town, somethin burnin, an' blood on a mountain. Bad omens, all."

Speaking reluctantly to Leafiara, Fahlo suggests, "Embrace the chaos?"

Balley softly says, "Many think Mother has ultimate control."

Speaking to Fahlo, Leafiara says, "I believe that's exactly what we're on the verge of doing."

Balley softly says, "Voices to not intervene were covered by fear last evening."

Balley softly says, "After a while it was not even worth the fight."

Leafiara says, "That makes sense."

Leafiara says, "Sometimes people open up more with a different audience."

Leafiara says, "Which of course is our entire point in getting Malluch away from the guards."

Balley softly says, "Having Mother there and Goblyn there intimidated some."

Radeek says, "I hasta be goin. Good luck ta ya's what'll be der tanite. If it comes ta fightin gives a good showin an' makes em pay fer every inch a ground."

Yardie says, "Let's hope there isn't a fight."

Speaking confidently to Radeek, Leafiara says, "Of that much you can be assured."

Speaking to Radeek, Fahlo says, "Thank you for what you said earlier."

Leafiara says, "Thank you for your thoughtfulness tonight, indeed."

Speaking to Yardie, Radeek says, "Hope be good ta try an have but hard ta holds on to."

Speaking huskily to Khylynnia, Jhenni asks, "Who do I have to kill to keep you safe, Beloved?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Radeek says, "Ma'am mayor."

Speaking to Jhenni, Khylynnia says, "By the way this meeting went, probably Leafi."

Balley softly says, "I shall be at your side this evening Mayor."

Leafiara says, "Not even all that wrong."

Leafiara says, "The Rooks are probably going to come for me after this one, but that's alright."

Speaking playfully to Leafiara, Khobra asks, "Complex being the Mayor, izn't it?"

Leafiara flippantly says, "Consequences, shmonsequences. We do what we believe in."

Draelor says, "That's all you really can do."

Balley softly says, "Do you recall Ali's reading."

Speaking wryly to Khobra, Leafiara agrees, "And oh, is it ever."

Speaking to Balley, Leafiara asks, "Mostly, why?"

Allyria says, "Thanks for having this discussion Mayor. It's good to be caught up on what is going on."

Balley softly says, "After a festival there was a powerful lady that cause chaos."

Leafiara amiably says, "Welcome and thank you for joining us."

Balley softly says, "I think that was Mother."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Severine says, "Yes, thank you."

Leafiara says, "I mean, normally I like chaos, but..."

Leafiara slowly says, "I'm pretty sure we're guaranteed chaos tonight."

Balley softly says, "Was the reason for trouble and conflict."

Vaemyr says, "Seems that way, regardless of our choices."

Yardie says, "Chaos is one thing. I just hope it's not in bloodshed."

Speaking thoughtfully to Leafiara, Khobra inquires, "Vhat iz the hour again, for thiz venture?"

Balley softly says, "We have to deal with her to get onto Malluch and the bigger picture."

Speaking to Khobra, Leafiara says, "Likely in about seven hours."

Yardie says, "Wow, our Blood Son enjoyed evening strolls."

Balley softly says, "I am going to go meditate and focus to see if the wind talks."

Speaking to Jhenni, Khylynnia says, "Leafi made the mistake of asking Mother and the Rooks for something instead of bringing it up with the militia...."

Balley softly says, "I shall be at your side."

Khobra softly says, "I vill go ztudy the blood about the townzhip. Zee you later, Mayor Leafiara."

Leafiara grumbles, "Seriously, I didn't even ask them for anything but a few smoke bombs."

Speaking to Jhenni, Khylynnia says, "And then the Rooks decided instead to go completely overboard."

Leafiara says, "She somehow turned it into this."

Jhenni huskily asks, "Who is Mother? And what?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr says, "I don't think this was your fault they would've probably involved themselves regardless."

Speaking to Jhenni, Khylynnia says, "It's just Leafi causing more mayhem...that's all."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Leafiara says, "I do agree."

Yardie says, "I'm not certain who Mother is. I think this evening will be....educational...for many of us."

Leafiara says, "She was jumping at an opportunity, or what she thought was one."

Speaking to Leafiara, Khylynnia says, "Although how Shinann expected you to consult her on the matter when she hasn't really been available for consultation...."

Speaking to Yardie, Draelor says, "Hate to say it, but sounds like a classic bully to me."

Speaking to Khylynnia, Leafiara says, "Well, she probably expected a letter, which I guess is fair enough."

Jhenni huskily says, "I like it when Khylynnia jumps....opportunity or not."

Speaking to Leafiara, Khylynnia says, "That's just hubris if you ask me...."

Speaking to Leafiara, Khylynnia says, "And the way she called Thadston HER Marshall...."

Leafiara says, "I'm fine with it either way. I'm not upset, just searching for what the right move is here."

Speaking huskily to Khylynnia, Jhenni says, "How about 2 letters.... An F and...."

Leafiara says, "No time to be upset when we have actual crises to deal with."

Speaking to Leafiara, Khylynnia says, "I am not upset, dear..."

Speaking to Khylynnia, Leafiara says, "I know, I meant me."

Speaking to Leafiara, Khylynnia says, "I am just breaking down the language used to explain individual positions."

Speaking to Yardie, Khylynnia says, "Oh, and I am not heartless, in fact, the entire premise for speaking was to voice my opinion of letting the caravan in. Faerinn is the one who called me narrow minded because he only heard what he wanted to hear...."

Speaking to Yardie, Khylynnia says, "I was just being snide with Faerinn because I dislike him so very much."

Speaking to Leafiara, Khylynnia says, "I dislike him ALMOST as much as I dislike Nehor...."

Speaking to Leafiara, Yardie says, "I didn't think you disliked....anyone."

Leafiara says, "Ah, good old Nehor... always words to say and little meaning."

Speaking amusedly to Yardie, Leafiara says, "I don't."

Leafiara muses, "At least not that I can think of."

Yardie says, "Then that speaks volumes."

Draelor says, "Thank you for the invite and the information, let's hope this evening works out."

Fahlo says, "One way or another."

Vaemyr says, "Alright well this has certainly been enlightening, I will do what I can to help out this evening, regardless of how things go."

Yardie says, "I'll also take my leave. My compliments to the decor of your office. I'll try to be brave...although it's not in my nature."

Leafiara says, "We appreciate your interest and dedication and thank you."

Leafiara says, "Both of you."

Khylynnia says, "I know that my perspective on the matter means little as I will not be available when things happen this evening, but I did feel the need to voice it."

Speaking to Khylynnia, Leafiara says, "No, perspectives mean everything no matter who can be where and when."

Leafiara says, "Like I said earlier, I was worried I've been biased in this because we're dealing with Malluch. So I wanted as many perspectives as I could get."

Yardie says, "Good evening, everyone."

Leafiara says, "I could have been overcompensating in either direction."

Speaking teasingly to Khylynnia, Jhenni says, "Sure....pull the dragon's tail and then go hide."

Leafiara says, "Too generous to Malluch and his guards, or too opposed to them out of concerns that I could be too generous."

Fahlo asks, "Oh dragons now too?"

Speaking to Jhenni, Khylynnia says, "Of course! I do that all the time with Leafi around."

Speaking lightly to Fahlo, Leafiara says, "Figure of speech."

Speaking huskily to Fahlo, Jhenni says, "A metaphor."

Speaking to Leafiara, Fahlo says, "Oh- right, I knew that."

Speaking jokingly to Leafiara, Jhenni asks, "Or was it?"

Speaking to Jhenni, Khylynnia says, "If saying no will get Leafi in more trouble, then... NO, No it wasn't."

Leafiara says, "I had better get to writing those letters I promised to after this meeting."

Leafiara mumbles, "And oh, is this gonna be a night."
