Macro

Macro refers to sending a command or sequence of commands with a single keypress (for example, the F1-F12 keys). Most clients or front ends have their own way of setting up macros.

Macros are commonly used for repetitive combat commands such as STANCE and ATTACK to avoid having to type out the full command every few seconds.

Keep in mind that GemStone IV has a "typeahead" limit that prevents the user from sending too many commands in a single input.
