The minor glacei is a conglomeration of ice and snow that writhes and moves with a mind of its own formed in a vaguely humanoid shape. The cold generated by the minor glacei is nearly unbearable.

Hunting strategies

Minor and major glaceis move and attack incredibly fast. Having an elemental body type, they are formless and do not possess body parts for which to be ambushed. Nonetheless, they can still be knocked down.

Other information

The minor glacei's "lash" and "strike" attacks are mechanically similar to ensnares. Perception plays a role in searching or looting minor glaceis.

Minor glaceis cannot be skinned, and searching them results in minor hand wounds, which will not give experience if transferred by an empath (they will count as self-inflicted). As the resulting gems are rather valuable, most hunters in the area carry large quantities of ambrominas leaf or equivalent.

Minor glaceis cannot be stunned.

Minor glaceis have a cold-based maneuver attack:

A minor glacei flashes with a brilliant icy blue light as large chunks of ice fly from its body!

You are struck by a large chunk of ice!
   ... 20 points of damage!
Cold blast rends muscles from bone!
You are stunned for 2 rounds!

Messaging

Minor glacei have special movement messaging:

A minor glacei slides <direction>, followed by a hailing icestorm.
