>look monkey
You see a fairly typical green monkey. He appears to be in good shape. He has a jaunty yellow bowtie (worn), a wide-brimmed yellow hat (worn), a vibrant yellow jacket (worn) and an iron-tipped wooden cane.

>desc monkey
The green monkey is a short humanoid creature, covered in green fur and very agile. He has a long tail that he uses to help climb things and hold things. The monkey looks very smart and seems to be full of mischief.

Hunting strategies

  • When hidden, monkeys cannot be searched out. However, they can be forced from hiding with spells such as Elemental Wave (410) if you or a hunting partner has access to them.

Other information

There are a various assortment of monkeys which show up. Some of them include the following:

  • a bright green monkey
  • a stout orange monkey
  • a bright orange monkey
  • a deep pink monkey
  • a stout bright orange monkey
  • a bright purple monkey

Monkeys also have a various number of actions that they perform, similar to practical jokes. These actions do not impact combat except for in the sense that they seem to take place of an attack. Here are several examples of monkey antics:

A (various) monkey looks at you, sticks her tongue out and says, "PPppPbPbPbbpbpbtttt!"

A (various) monkey jumps on you and scrambles over your head and leaps off your back!

A (various) monkey screeches with glee!

A (various) monkey jumps up and slaps you on the top of your head!

A (various) monkey gives a grizzled mauve crocodile a warm hug.

A (various) monkey gives a dead crab a last long hug.

While the above silliness of monkeys is strictly harmless amusement, they also exhibit consequential interaction with disks:

A (various) monkey takes a weathered wooden box out of the Kaldonis disk and drops it!

A (various) monkey closes the Kaldonis disk!

A (various) monkey opens the Kaldonis disk!
