The fearsome product of magical experimentation, the necrotic snake is larger than most men. Rotting scales cover the length of the undead reptile in a diamond pattern formed of various hues of brown, gold, and black. Large gashes in the snake's side reveal thin rib bones and the carcasses of previous meals, while leaking rancid fumes into the surrounding air.

Other information

  • The necrotic snake can poison its opponent after it delivers a successful hit.
  • The necrotic snake does further damage to its victim's body after it kills.

Necrotic snakes have two creature maneuvers: poison spit and a constriction move.

  • The poison spit maneuver will lower the target's AS by 30 and poison the victim. An example of the necrotic snake's poison spit maneuver:

A necrotic snake rises up and spits a glob of disgusting white spittle directly at your eyes!
You twist to avoid the venomous spittle, but your action comes a moment too late. While some of the vile fluid is deflected by your armor, much of it strikes you squarely in the face! Your hands instinctively rise to wipe the spit away as a painful burning sensation explodes in your eyes.
   ... 1 point of damage!
Drop of acid gets in your eye! Better flush it out.
You are stunned for 1 round!
You feel a fierce poison coursing through your veins!
Roundtime: 6 sec.

  • The constriction maneuver lasts several rounds. The victim is unable to act while under the maneuver, much like Bearhug. An example of the necrotic snake's constriction maneuver:

A necrotic snake suddenly springs towards you with lightning speed!
You are unable to get out of the way as the snake coils tightly around you, holding you in place!

A necrotic snake's coils tighten around you, squeezing the life out of you!
   ... 10 points of damage!
Strike to the eye clips the eyebrow.
You are stunned for 1 round!

A necrotic snake's coils tighten around you, squeezing the life out of you!
   ... 3 points of damage!
Blow raises a welt on your left arm.

You're finally able to break free of the snake's coils!
