Oronthal Jalcon was a sylvan archer and swordsman, and was set to begin training fighters at the Demonwall at the time of his disappearance. He was the fifth known paragon of Raznel, and the fourth to be released.

Appearance

You see Oronthal Jalcon the Night Archer.
He appears to be a Sylvankind.
He is average height.  He appears to be in the prime of life.  He has piercing ether blue eyes and golden brown skin.  He has long, sleek black hair tied back with a silver arrow-shaped clasp.  He has a delicate face, a classical nose and slightly pointed ears.  He is surrounded by a barrier of blue light.
He is in good shape.
He is holding a grooved night black longbow in his left hand.
He is wearing a black golvern greathelm, a dark silver locket, a silver-lined back quiver, some fitted black leather armor, a polished dark silver wedding band, a pocketed black leather belt, a silver-bound black leather scabbard, a pair of loose black breeches, and a pair of dark suede boots.

History

Oronthal and his pregnant wife were taken by Rachel circa 4093. His wife and unborn child were killed at that time, but Rachel and Peter took him and used him as a paragon. He was trapped in an imaginary realm along the Demonwall, forever fighting the demons that tormented him. The couple left behind a son, Falvicar.

On Feastday, day 28 of the month Imaerasta in the year 5119, a group adventurers that included Oronthal's son ventured to this imaginary realm and released the Night Archer from his torture.

Before passing, he told Falvicar that his mother was also a chosen of Ronan, and he passed along his wedding ring, a polished dark silver wedding band, to his son as a keepsake. Falvicar gave his father a white ora dagger in return, so that his father would leave this world in battle, as a warrior would.
