Oteska the Corsair was a half-elf pirate who lived in and around the town of River's Rest during the Grand Era of Piracy, 4275 to 4325.

Oteska was remembered for the small smuggling settlement he established in a marsh north of the town, which remained populated until 5006. Today, the area is commonly known as Oteska's Haven, and is currently inhabited by trolls and the undead.

Oteska was killed when a brass warning bell he had ordered created to warn of the Imperial Navy fell and crushed him. There was a shard of this bell in the River's Rest town museum.
