Festival teaser! on 07/05/2018 08:54 AM PDT

Charyia will be back with updated stationery inventory at Now is the Write Time. She also has NEW fancy envelopes for sale!

G>nudge envelope
Eyeing the front of your parchment envelope, you decide to write the address sloppily.
G>write my envelope;To: GM Elysani
Writing sloppily, you address the front of your parchment envelope with your red feather quill.
G>read my envelope
The front of your parchment envelope, sloppily written in Common, reads as follows:

To: GM Elysani

G>kiss my envelope
Bringing your parchment envelope to your lips, you tenderly kiss it and leave behind a faint lip-shaped mark.
G>look my envelope
The envelope is closed. You see a faint lip-shaped mark on the seal. There appears to be something sloppily written across the front.
G>burn my envelope
Spying a nearby fire, you toss your parchment envelope on the flames and watch it quickly burn.

Note: Burning the envelopes only works in rooms that have fire/fireplace props. This will destroy the envelope.

Charyia will be raffling off a few max deep stationery boxes, as well as working on the items in her shop during the course of the festival. Stop by!

Tired of all that loose paper lying around?

G>glance
You glance down to see a pink-tinged birdseye maple stationery box in your right hand and a piece of paper in your left hand.
G>push my box
As you push a small button on the side of your stationery box, a discreet drawer in the bottom of the box slides open. You carefully place a piece of paper inside, taking care not to crease it. The drawer slides smoothly shut again with the slightest touch.
G>ponder
You ponder.
G>get paper
You pick up a piece of paper.
G>push my box
As you push a small button on the side of your stationery box, a discreet drawer in the bottom of the box slides open. You carefully place a piece of paper inside, taking care not to crease it. The drawer slides smoothly shut again with the slightest touch.
G>look my box
There are 2 sheets of paper inside the stationery box.

Boxes will hold 10 sheets of loose paper off the shelf, and can be worked on to hold more. Visit 'Now Is The Write Time' during the festival for all of your stationery needs.
Re: MSN 4: Teaser on 07/11/2017 08:34 AM PDT

For all of you scribes out there - some new writing accessories to be found at 'Now Is The Write Time':

G>open my ink
You unscrew the lid on your azure glass inkpot, taking care not to spill the contents.
G>shake my ink
Holding your fingers over the opening, you turn your azure glass inkpot over to agitate the azure liquid inside.
G>nudge my ink
You dip your flamingo quill into your azure glass inkpot, submerging the nib briefly into the azure ink before scraping off any excess.
G>tickle ink
While holding your azure glass inkpot, you absently tap your finger against your chin, leaving a smudge of azure ink across your skin.

Someone looking at you may notice a slight feature change: She has a smudge of azure ink upon her chin.

But wait!

G>tap quill
Pondering what to write next, you tap the end of your flamingo quill against your cheek.
G>wear quill
You tuck your flamingo quill behind your ear, adjusting the quill for an aesthetically pleasing effect.
G>tap quill
With a slight nod, you tap the flamingo quill tucked behind your ear and mouth, "Noted."

Someone looking at you may notice a slight feature change: A bright pink flamingo feather quill is tucked behind her ear.

More actions in store on both items.
