Raertria is one of the Ta'Vaalor guardsmen at the Vermilion Gate, the northeastern gate of the city of Ta'Vaalor.

Description

Raertria is middle-aged, of average height, and has a lean frame.  Her copper complexion, shoulder-length, grey-brown hair, and blue-grey eyes give her a nearly monotone look.  She wears a number of linked silver chains adorned with gaudy gems and jewels.  A deep frown reinforces frown lines in her face.  Raertria is dressed in a dark red coat trimmed with bright gold piping, which also has three broad gold stripes across the left arm.  Her pants are a matching red with the cuffs tucked into knee-high dark leather boots.

Room Messaging

An elven clerk arrives and begins to loudly berate Rethustril about his past due debts.  As the official prattles on, Rethustril mutters under his breath, "Not again...", which sends Raertria into peals of quiet giggles.  Finally, Rethustril waves the clerk away with conciliatory promises to pay, and then buries his face despondently in his hands.  This amuses Raertria even more, and her quiet giggling turns to obnoxiously loud guffaws.

Raertria glances about nervously, her fingers plucking distractedly at the hem of her short uniform coat.  She catches you eyeing her and stares back angrily, her expression a hate-filled challenge.  She then spins on her heel and snaps to attention, facing away from you but still watching you from the corner of her eye.
