Aydan recites:

"All right, the dead are up. Let's give it two minutes, then we're moving underground."

Mynalia asks, "Are we all nearly ready to make our way below?"

Alifair says, "I believe we are."

Speaking to Aydan, Raelee asks, "Halt the party at the entrance for a moment, will you?"

Aydan recites:

"If you're coming with us, join now."

Sir Aydan's group just went down.
[Fasthr's Lance, Armory]
Crowded by a series of weapon racks, the chamber is cradled by the curve of a stone ramp as it climbs toward the top of the tower. To the south, a gap in the inner wall leads to a small enclave, from which wafts occasional breaths of heat and a rich floral scent.

(Moving through Solhaven)

Sir Aydan's group just went east.
[Solhaven, Lornon and Shadow]
Set between two large gated residences, a low dark building is visible to the north, its dirtied windows and peeling coat of paint imparting a very dilapidated, abandoned look to the structure. Faint shadows of movement shift within its dark interior, lending an ominous feeling that's supplemented by the silence pervading the area.
Also here: High Lord Svardin, Kasia, Sir Bristenn, Sir Cryheart, Hoy, Magister Raelee, Lady Misun, Alifair, Beldin, Ainsley, Mynalia, Lord Chamorr, Kipa, Vilkea, Tillmont, Herachio, Kateerina, Biggan, Silverthorne, Melorra, Sir Metadi, Lady Divone, Teveriel, Great Lady Auragin, Mohrgan, Kylinarr, Meureii, Lady Khristal, Dunathen, Godefroy, Sir Aydan

Aydan says, "Hold here a moment."

Raelee says, "Before we go below..."

Raelee glances around the area.

Raelee says, "I simply want to reiterate what I said, because I was most serious."

J>look build It looks quite dilapidated, and faint rustling noises emanate from a small pile of crates positioned right behind it.

Astari asks, "What did you say for us late comers?"

Divone says, "Respect is given. we are on the same side tonight."

Raelee says, "Tonight, the Order of Luukos is allowing us into their territory to perform this ritual. For they need it to succeed as much as we do."

Divone nods at Raelee.

Godefroy says, "Now is not the time to pick fights."

Raelee says, "Consider this a favor."

Mohrgan clenches his jaw.

You glance at Raelee.

Beldin says, "I think I am gonna just stay here. Me and that one do not get along."

(Teveriel hefts his mithril claidhmore to rest the flat of the blade on his shoulder.)

Kylinarr says, "Last I checked Luukos wasn't all that ordered."

Speaking to Raelee, you say, "We may disagree there."

Svardin says, "I hasn't beat on one since ole Hissy face."

Metadi mutters, "Right. A favor. Right up until..."

Godefroy says, "If you can't behave, stay up here and guard the door."

Raelee says, "If you cannot treat these caverns and the order with respect tonight... remain above."

(Astari absently traces the burn scar on her finger.)

(Bristenn shrugs one shoulder, rattling the pauldrons of his steel field plate-and-mail.)

Mohrgan narrows his eyes.

You shuffle your feet.

Auragin takes a deep breath.

Melorra places a hand over her heart.

Metadi scowls at Raelee.

Speaking to you, Raelee says, "You do not have to like it. Simply act like it."

Kateerina softly says, "When luukos gives you a favor there is always a hidden price."

Raelee clearly asks, "Am I understood?"

Bristenn noncommittally notes, "I'll just consider the score even."

Mohrgan quietly says, "We will do what need be done."

Kylinarr says, "It will not be the first time I was invited into the

Metadi glances at you.

Speaking to Kateerina, Godefroy says, "In this case, the price is we prevent Indhis from riding after Him, as well."

Aydan asks, "The lake?"

Ainsley simply says, "From all we're told, the world's about to end. If we don't stop it, there'll certainly be no price to pay. We can be good."

Speaking to Aydan, Raelee says, "The lake."

You say, "You must have moments of pause in these tense times."

You nod slowly.

Aydan says, "Let's get this over with."

Speaking softly to Godefroy, Kateerina asks, "Are you so sure?"

Metadi says, "Let's get the inevitable snake betrayal o'er with."

Sir Aydan's group just went through a dark hole.
[Dark Cavern]
Rough walls of dark rock surround you to create a small chamber, darkness enshrouding the area like a haze. Faint light can be glimpsed further north in the cramped tunnel, flickering amidst the blackness. The air is slightly damp, the silence of the area being broken by the quiet sound of water dripping far off in the distance. You also see a dark hole.
Also here: High Lord Svardin, Kasia, Sir Bristenn, Sir Cryheart, Hoy, Magister Raelee, Lady Misun, Alifair, Ainsley, Mynalia, Lord Chamorr, Kipa, Vilkea, Tillmont, Herachio, Kateerina, Biggan, Silverthorne, Melorra, Sir Metadi, Lady Divone, Teveriel, Great Lady Auragin, Mohrgan, Kylinarr, Meureii, Lady Khristal, Dunathen, Godefroy, Sir Aydan

(Into the bottom of the Cavern)

Sir Aydan's group just went north.
[Dark Cavern, Underground Lake]
The narrow passageway ends abruptly, the walls stretching out to create a yawning, expansive room. A large lake spreads through the darkness of the cavern, the sounds of lapping water echoing from the distance belying the true size of the chamber. A faint mist rises from the glassy surface of the lake, the fluctuating miasma holding the foul scent of rot as it trails along the ground. You also see a large cast iron cauldron and a virescent crystalline tile.
Also here: High Lord Svardin, Kasia, Sir Bristenn, Sir Cryheart, Hoy, Magister Raelee, Lady Misun, Alifair, Ainsley, Mynalia, Lord Chamorr, Kipa, Vilkea, Tillmont, Herachio, Kateerina, Biggan, Silverthorne, Melorra, Sir Metadi, Lady Divone, Teveriel, Great Lady Auragin, Mohrgan, Kylinarr, Meureii, Lady Khristal, Dunathen, Godefroy, Sir Aydan

Aydan says, "Those who have a part to play here, do so."

Bristenn offhandedly notes, "We can all also resume the bickering while we're rebuilding the port and such."

Bristenn removes a silver mane from in his medical kit.

Godefroy glances around the room.

Bristenn removes a nightshade berry from in his medical kit.

Godefroy gazes thoughtfully at a large cast iron cauldron.

Mynalia casually glances at a large cast iron cauldron.

Raelee asks, "Let us begin, shall we?"

Bristenn strides a few steps forward.

Godefroy nods at Raelee.

Melorra glances at Mynalia.

Mynalia furrows her brow.

Raelee says, "In all things alchemical, order is important. Begin with the butterfly wings."

Godefroy removes a white butterfly wing from in his velvet sack.

Godefroy asks, "Two?"

Mohrgan echoes, "Two."

Raelee points at a large cast iron cauldron.

Speaking to Godefroy, Raelee asks, "You have them, yes?"

Godefroy says, "Just a moment..."

Godefroy nods at Raelee.

Godefroy taps a white butterfly wing, which is in his right hand.

Godefroy put a white butterfly wing in a large cast iron cauldron.

Godefroy nods.

Godefroy removes an azure butterfly wing from in his velvet sack.

Godefroy put an azure butterfly wing in a large cast iron cauldron.

Godefroy asks, "Next?"

Raelee says, "The mane of a nightmare steed."

Godefroy removes a silver mane from in his velvet sack.

Godefroy put a silver mane in a large cast iron cauldron.

Raelee reads, "A sprig of nightshade."

Godefroy nods at Bristenn.

Bristenn put a nightshade berry in a large cast iron cauldron.

Bristenn takes a few steps back.

Bristenn folds his hands behind his back.

Godefroy says, "...that should work..."

Speaking to Melorra, Raelee asks, "Melorra?"

Raelee glances at a large cast iron cauldron.

Godefroy removes a radiant white soulstone from in his velvet sack.

Speaking to Raelee, Melorra asks, "Right in..?"

Raelee nods at Melorra.

Melorra put a trio of fused dreamstone shards in a large cast iron cauldron.

Speaking quietly to herself, Raelee observes, "Chicken legs. The cauldron has... chicken legs."

Raelee shakes her head, totally at a loss.

Metadi blinks at Raelee.

Bristenn amusedly mumbles, "..better than barn owl legs, oddly enough."

Speaking to Mynalia, Raelee asks, "Are you ready?"

Speaking to Raelee, Mynalia says, "I think so, yes."

Speaking to Godefroy, Raelee says, "Boil."

Speaking to Mynalia, Raelee asks, "Will you, or shall one of us?"

(Melorra remains barely an arm's length from Mynalia, poised to offer aid if necessary.)

Speaking to Raelee, Mynalia says, "You can do the honor, if you wish."

Speaking to Mynalia, Raelee says, "Very well."

Mynalia says, "I shall prepare the final artifact."

(Raelee holds her palm out at the cauldron, generating a stream of water from her hand and filling the vessel.)

Mynalia removes a large carved disc of ebon dreamstone from in her leather harness.

Aydan says, "I can put my sword under if it that's needed."

Mynalia frowns.

As Raelee rubs her hydrophane opal band, droplets of opalescent white water flow from her band to her hand, forming a churning globe of white water.

You shift your weight.

Metadi helpfully offers, "Cyral may hae a match."

Raelee's globe of white water drains through her fingers as she holds it in her palm, forming a white puddle on the floor.

As Raelee rubs her bronze and gold band, a ball of ecru white fire builds in her left hand.

Raelee says, "Here we go."

Mynalia says, "I had not anticipated this. This area seems to be shielded from the use of strong magics..."

Shrinking to the size of a child's fist, Raelee's white fire burns with an intense bone light.

Speaking to Mynalia, Raelee says, "I am ultimately resourceful."

Biggan glances at Mynalia.

Auragin prayerfully rubs her fingers across her jet prayer beads.

Godefroy says, "This should work... and slowly enough to avoid scorching."

Svardin says, "Was an offer of fire I wisely turned down."

Biggan asks, "Can you tell where the magic is coming from?"

Speaking to Raelee, Mynalia says, "Still, I fear it may make our task even more difficult than we had expected."

Mohrgan narrows his eyes.

Astari looks less calm and refreshed than a moment ago.

Speaking to Mynalia, Raelee says, "Extremely."

Cryheart grins.

Aydan says, "It's likely suppressed by what else is nearby."

Raelee's spherical ball of niveous flame licks at the air.

Speaking to Mynalia, Raelee says, "This is not a terribly impressive amount of heat."

(Metadi glances towards the shadows.)

Mohrgan frowns.

Bristenn rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Speaking to Raelee, Godefroy says, "Spare a few more? We can help."

Khristal says, "Not gonna boil cuz we all watchin it."

Bristenn removes a black branding iron from in his medical kit.

Bristenn indicates a black branding iron as a possible option.

Raelee says, "Unless anyone has tools to dismantle wardings..."

Bristenn slowly offers, "..perchance this?"

The ecru ball of fire in Raelee's hand momentarily takes a columnar form.

Mynalia begins to pace slowly, casting worried glances between the dreamstone disc in her hand and the cauldron.

Metadi asks, "How about we boil it outside, then bring it inside tae finish the ritual?"

Raelee quietly mutters, "Or some kindling."

(Aydan walks over to the cauldron and slides the blade of his battlesword underneath. After muttering a few quiet words, the flames surrounding the blade flare up a bit more than normal.)

Raelee put a burnt scrap of parchment in her white linen robe.

Mynalia lets out a long, contemplative breath.

Cryheart wraps his cloak tightly about himself.

As Raelee rubs her bronze and gold band, a ball of niveous white fire builds in her right hand.

Speaking to Godefroy, Metadi says, "Makes tae much sense, I suppose."

Speaking to Metadi, Godefroy says, "Locations are very touchy, in alchemy and magic."

A sound like a great bat flapping its wings emanates from the shadows.

(Raelee fills her other hand with fire and presses that to the base of the cauldron as well.)

The voice of Tseleth says, "I could be of some assistance."

The ivory white fire in Raelee's hand flickers idly.

A streak of magenta energy snakes throughout Raelee's ball of white fire.

Mohrgan grips his dark rolaren waraxe a little tighter.

Auragin squints.

Cryheart raises an eyebrow.

Raelee quietly murmurs, "Thank you, Tseleth."

Silverthorne leans softly against Alifair.

Mohrgan breaks out in a sweat.

Godefroy says, "That would be appreciated."

Metadi mumbles something under his breath.

Cyral says, "Well then, you must not be touchy."

Aydan stands up.

Teveriel moves into a defensive stance, ready to fend off an attack.

Aydan takes a few steps back.

Biggan smirks.

Rolfard shivers.

Tseleth steps out of the shadows on clawed feet.

Melorra inclines her head.

Kilthal glances at Tseleth.

You breathe very slowly and deliberately, calming yourself.

Bristenn examines Tseleth closely, sizing him up and taking note of all the details.

You see Tseleth.
He appears to be Humanoid.
He has a towering, slender form. Shadows conceal his face. The flesh that remains on his hands is cracked and burnt, and glints of white bone shine through at the joints. Waves of heat shimmer around his body, distorting his appearance. He is swathed in the ragged and charred remains of a dark hooded greatcloak. Tattered, leathery material hides the rest of his body. Odd veins winding through the material occasionally twitch and pulse.

Cyral nods in agreement.

Kateerina frowns.

Raelee nods slowly at Tseleth.

Mynalia nods in greeting at Tseleth.

Cyral quietly says, "Prickly."

(Aydan gives Tseleth a quiet, impassive glare.)

You hear very soft footsteps.

Kateerina takes a few graceful steps backwards.

Cryheart glances at Tseleth.

Speaking casually to Tseleth, Bristenn notes, "You're looking well. Wing's healed and all."

Metadi moves to stand in front of Kateerina.

Tseleth throws his head back and the hood of his greatcloak recedes to reveal a ruined, skeletal face with eyes of virescent flame. The tattered, leathery material enshrouding his form twitches and unfurls, snapping outward to reveal immense wings armed with ebon talons.

Tseleth's form is a mass of burnt skin and exposed bone, his chest alive with dancing green flames that roar with renewed fury as they are exposed to fresh air.

(Teveriel lowers the tip of his blade to the ground, giving a grudging grunt.)

You see Tseleth the Infernal.
He appears to be an Arch Lich.
His form is towering and skeletal. Emerald flames belch forth from the depths of the eyes sockets in his skull, the charred skin of which has torn to reveal glimpses of blackened bone. A half-molten crown of gold, inlaid with cracked emeralds, is fused to his skull. Viridian flames rage beneath his exposed ribcage.
Ebon-taloned wings draped in tattered, leathery flesh sprout from the fire-ravaged bones of his back.
He is wearing a pulsating chrysochlorous soulstone suspended from a gilded chain, the charred and ragged remains of a dark hooded greatcloak, some ragged strips of burnt cloth, and a stygian wristlet forged from heavy ora links.

Mohrgan flinches.

Tseleth flexes one of his wings. It pops. That can't be healthy.

Bristenn shakes his head at Tseleth and clucks his tongue.

Teveriel darkly jests, "Soup's on."

Raelee settles her gaze on Tseleth, watching him intently.

Svardin tries humming a joyful tune.

Tseleth glances at a large cast iron cauldron.

Speaking sincerely to Tseleth, Mynalia says, "You have already done much to aid us this night, but it would seem that we need your help yet again."

Ainsley bows to Tseleth.

Speaking to Tseleth, Raelee says, "Excellent."

Divone takes a moment to observe Tseleth.

You squint.

Biggan's sonic lance dissipates. Cryheart glances at a large cast iron cauldron.

Speaking offhandedly to Tseleth, Bristenn concedes, "Excellent work with the being swallowed trick, as well. Rather classic."

Tseleth quietly says, "Had you all merely listened to me, this could have been avoided."

Tseleth says, "All of this."

Metadi snorts!

Svardin chuckles.

Misun glances at Metadi and slowly exhales.

The ivory white fire in Raelee's hand continues burning, the flame quivering.

The bone ball of fire in Raelee's hand flashes, bathing her in a white hue.

Mohrgan clenches his jaw.

Kateerina smirks.

Godefroy looks over at Metadi and shakes his head.

Raelee shakes her head, totally at a loss.

Raelee glances at Tseleth.

(Rolfard makes a warding sign at Tseleth.)

Godefroy says, "...a lesson learned, perhaps, at great cost."

Tseleth gestures, and a roiling ball of emerald flame appears above his taloned hand. It wobbles down beneath the cauldron and sets the ground beneath it alight.

(Raelee adds the fire in her hands to the green flames beneath the cauldron.)

The butterfly wings dissolve into pools of rainbowed color amidst the waters of the cauldron.

Divone glances at Alisaire.

Meureii just arrived.

Kateerina rests a gentle hand on Metadi's arm.

Melorra gazes at a large cast iron cauldron.

Metadi nods at Kateerina.

The berry turns into a brackish pulp, barely more than a skim on the surface of the water.

Godefroy says, "A watched cauldron..."

Biggan asks, "Are we sure this is a good idea?"

Raelee says, "Yes."

Raelee nods at Biggan.

Speaking quietly to Kateerina, Metadi says, "Always."

Slowly, the nightmare steed mane dissolves away into filaments of glistening silver.

Godefroy says, "It's the only idea, actually."

Meureii takes a moment to observe Tseleth.

Svardin ducks behind his golden greatshield.

Biggan says, "I'll take your word on it."

Meureii nods slowly at Tseleth.

The shards slowly submerge in the dark fluids of the cauldron.

Biggan says, "But I'm not gona set myself on fire like you all."

Biggan says, "That just looks to painful."

Tseleth cocks his head.

Speaking to Svardin, Kipa asks, "Thinking it might explode?"

Tseleth stares at a large cast iron cauldron.

Metadi nods at Kateerina.

Speaking to Tseleth, Mynalia says, "You will be needing this, I think."

Svardin says, "Seen a lotta stuff explode. Just bein prepared."

Mynalia offers Tseleth a large carved disc of ebon dreamstone.

Svardin grins.

Metadi mutters, "I got swallowed by a giant tentacle tonight. What's a little explosion on top o' that?"

Melorra glances between Mynalia and Tseleth.

Speaking to Raelee, Godefroy asks, "What do you think? Is it ready?"

Bristenn glances at a large cast iron cauldron and stands there stubbornly, folding his arms over his chest.

Kipa begins chuckling at Metadi!

Misun quietly says, "Better you than me."

Cryheart grins at Metadi.

Godefroy indicates a radiant white soulstone as a possible option.

Speaking to Vilkea, Metadi says, "Yes. A tentacle ate me."

Speaking to Mynalia, Mohrgan asks, "Mightn't you do it...or the Magister?"

Biggan rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Speaking to Metadi, Cyral says, "You should really start handling yourself better."

Mohrgan glances warily at Tseleth.

Speaking to Mohrgan, Raelee says, "It is fine."

Tseleth accepts Mynalia's disc of ebon dreamstone.

Speaking softly to Metadi, Kilthal says, "If it explodes and causes a cave in, then it will be a ton of rock that is on top of ye."

Speaking to Godefroy, Raelee says, "As much as it will be, I believe."

Mohrgan frowns.

Speaking to Vilkea, Metadi says, "Briefly."

Tseleth put a large carved disc of ebon dreamstone in a large cast iron cauldron.

You say, "Assistance from a Lich and Luukosians. It must be th' end of th' world."

Svardin says, "I asked ya ta wait outside."

Svardin chuckles.

Rolfard shifts his eyes to you.

Svardin turns around.

Teveriel smirks at you!

Metadi says, "They're assisting themselves."

Aydan quietly says, "It's not the first time we've had to get help from them."

Aydan frowns.

Speaking to you, Cyral says, "Na, it's just Solhaven. A weird lot around these parts."

Light swims over the surface of the cauldron, and the waters begin to sublimate.

You chuckle at Cyral.

Khristal says, "Please nobody tell my Father I was here."

You say, "Good timing."

You nod.

Speaking to you, Raelee says, "It is their world as much as it is yours. They, too, want to continue to exist."

Tseleth turns around.

Speaking to Tseleth, Godefroy asks, "Do you need this?"

Godefroy offers Tseleth a radiant white soulstone.

Speaking to you, Cyral asks, "See?"

Kateerina softly says, "And there is always a cost, we just do not know it yet..."

(Misun glances down at her hands and nervously pulls at her fingers.)

Tseleth accepts Godefroy's white soulstone.

Speaking to Raelee, you say, "Agreed."

Tseleth indicates his white soulstone with a smile.

Speaking to Godefroy, Tseleth says, "Hm."

Metadi scowls.

Tseleth glances at a radiant white soulstone in his hand.

Mohrgan frowns.

Melorra glances at Tseleth.

Khristal nods.

Raelee removes a burnt scrap of parchment from in her white linen robe.

Khristal says, "Good."

Godefroy asks, "I believe that needs to collect the essences, yes?"

Godefroy peers quizzically at Raelee.

Speaking to Tseleth, Raelee says, "Steep the soulstone. Collect the remaining fluid."

Svardin glances at a large cast iron cauldron.

Svardin sniffs at a large cast iron cauldron.

Svardin rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Tseleth nods.

Tseleth put a radiant white soulstone in a large cast iron cauldron.

Biggan rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Vilkea cocks her head at Cyral.

(Auragin peers into the shadows.)

Silvery mist rises from the surface of the cauldron.

Tseleth quietly says, "No doubt you can handle the rest of this on your own."

Biggan asks, "So..... whats the plan?"

Biggan raises an eyebrow.

Bristenn leans back.

Misun gazes at a large cast iron cauldron.

Speaking seriously to Tseleth, Raelee says, "Your efforts are appreciated."

Godefroy agrees, "Indeed."

Speaking quietly to Tseleth, Raelee adds, "... I tried."

Aydan clenches his jaw.

Divone folds her hands.

(Metadi watches in stony-faced silence.)

Kateerina frowns.

Tseleth sharply says, "This place has been ceded to me."

Bristenn raises an eyebrow in Tseleth's direction.

Cryheart says, "Remember this, we helped ye as much as ye helped us...to keep all safe."

Speaking slowly to Tseleth, Bristenn inquires, "..the ..pale one's gone?"

Cryheart nods at Tseleth.

Metadi gives Svardin a friendly little kick.

Tseleth says, "If any of you return here without the blessing of the Serpent, I will gut you and devour your entrails."

Mohrgan growls ferociously!

Cyral looks thoughtfully at Tseleth.

Hoy's face turns slightly pale.

Speaking to Svardin, Metadi grumbles, "Do credit me with some restraint."

Tseleth draws his wings inward, wrapping them about his body. They settle around him like a leathery cloak, concealing the skeletal contours of Tseleth's form.

Alifair says, "Not a whisper from the temple, does this not seem odd? They must be aware..."

Divone says, "Fair enough."

Mohrgan spits, "Good riddance..."

Alisaire casually glances at Cryheart.

Ainsley dryly says, "I'd pay good money not to have to come underground."

Tseleth stalks into the shadows. Flickering emerald light follows him as he goes.

Speaking to Tseleth, Cyral says, "I was going to bring you a frosty ale, but no more."

Kipa says, "Not exactly friendly."

Kipa grins.

Divone coughs.

Cryheart says, "No offense."

Bristenn simply concedes, "I'll take that as a yes, and, noted."

Vilkea shakes her head.

The tingling sensation and sense of security leaves Svardin.

Cryheart grins at Alifair.

Raelee glances up.

Rolfard shivers.

(Teveriel rests his mithril claidhmore across his shoulders, draping his arms over the blade and hilt in an oddly casual pose.)

Aydan glances at a large cast iron cauldron.

Teveriel agrees, "Noted."

Alisaire says, "Mhmm."

Godefroy says, "Not friendly, perhaps, but good enough."

Aydan asks, "Is it finished?"

Raelee removes a disk of bright blue crystal from in a large cast iron cauldron.

(Mohrgan seethes through clenched teeth, "His time will come.".)

Raelee put a burnt scrap of parchment in her white linen robe.

Raelee examines her crystal, staring at it intently from all possible angles. Having acquainted herself with its inner workings, Raelee gives a satisfied nod.

Raelee offers Mynalia a disk of bright blue crystal.

Cyral says, "He'll be so sad with no frosty ale. Mark my words."

Cryheart says, "Just remind him we helped him and much as he helped ye."

Svardin says, "Don't tink he was talkin ta ya, Rufus."

Metadi growls, "Wonder how long until they betray us."

Godefroy asks, "Alright, folks, seriously. Before you start planning another big fight, can we at least finish this one?"

Speaking sharply to Metadi, Raelee says, "Keep it to yourself."

Cyral whispers something to Metadi.

Kipa asks, "I am curious though, why would anyone want to come back here?"

Mohrgan scowls.

Kipa ponders.

Raelee says, "What I said about respect still holds true. If you cannot abide by it..."

Raelee points south.

Khristal says, "That's a really big blue crystal."

Raelee sharply says, "Go."

Aydan asks, "What is the next step?"

Mynalia declines Raelee's offer.

Speaking softly to Raelee, Kateerina says, "Hush up I have had enough."

Speaking to Raelee, Metadi says, "Your authority is over your spells, magister. Nae o'er me."

Bristenn glances expectantly at Raelee.

Aydan asks, "Do we need to proceed to the schism?"

Meureii repeats, "Aye, leave this place."

Svardin says, "We needs a song."

Svardin sings:

"Oh I wish I was a hulkin krolvin warlord.
Dat is wha I truly want ta be.
Cause if I was a hulkin krolvin warlord.
I could drool and stumble clumsily."

Speaking to Raelee, Mynalia says, "You should see this through, your strength is greater than mine anyway."

Speaking to Alisaire, Raelee says, "Pass our gratitude to the Order."

Cryheart smiles at Alisaire.

Godefroy says, "The Schism seems a likely place to fit the Seal."

Divone agrees with Raelee.

(Mohrgan sneers and spits on the floor.)

Alisaire glances at Raelee.

Alisaire inclines her head.

Aydan asks, "Shall we go to her, then?"

Auragin takes a deep breath.

Raelee says, "To the Schism."

Speaking to Godefroy, Metadi inquires, "With us trapped inside if it succeeds?"

Mynalia nods.

Alifair says, "At last."

Sir Aydan's group just went south.
[Dark Cavern]
The monotony of the dusty dirt floor is unbroken save for a few patches of the same dark rock that comprise the walls of the cramped chamber peeking up through some of the more worn sections. The angle of the tunnel turns sharply here, only a single torch upon the wall lighting the way. A foul stench rides on the drafts flowing in from the north, saturating the moist air with the smell of rot.

Speaking to Metadi, Godefroy says, "If we can get out of Oblivion itself, the Schism isn't that daunting."

Aydan says, "Be ready, we might have to fight our way in."

Sir Aydan's group just went through a ruined opening leading to Ronan's Temple.
[Temple of Ronan, Gate]
An ornate black gate stands askew, torn almost off of its wrought iron hinges. Onyx slabs engraved with large silver-edged black sword is centered on each half of the gate, although a great crimson scar mars one of them. Onyx flagstones form a path through the courtyard.

[Temple of Ronan, Courtyard]
Huge trees shade the splintered remnants of silver-trimmed ebonwood benches that lie scattered about the area, lending the surroundings the appearance of permanent twilight. A peaked obsidian arch that is cracked and crumbling in places gives entrance to the temple itself, and a stone-walled pond sits in one corner, birthing a noxious smell. [Temple of Ronan, Entrance]
Silver-veined black marble floors and polished ebony walls are obviously intended to lend the antechamber the impression that one has stepped in to the dark of night, but the claw-marks of a great beast have scored the walls and chipped the stone underfoot. Tiny crimson stars form the outline of a panther overhead, each one twinkling malevolently. A tattered spidersilk tapestry hangs askew from one wall, bordered by a rusted iron candelabra, and a defaced silver plaque hangs on the other.

Cracked marble pillars stand along the west side of the hallway, along a small open area that forms the center of the temple. Several are toppled. There is no obvious access to the open area, but it is tiled with shattered crystal squares alternating with tarnished silver ones, and a broken onyx bench sits in the center.

The black lambswool carpet covering the floor is scorched and missing in places, revealing flooring starkly free of the natural wear and tear that has worn the surrounding tiles down to uniform smoothness. [Schism of Dreams, Obelisk]
Sprouting from a rise of crystalline dreamstone is a hexagonal obelisk of obsidian twice the height of a man. In the blazing light of a full moon peeking over a row of jagged hills to the west, the obelisk yields seven sinuous shadows, each one wavering like a candle's flame. Strange perfume fills the air, like the scents of jasmine and orange, but far sharper and more intense.

Metadi grins crookedly.

Mohrgan quietly vows, "It ends here." Misun gets an odd look on her face.

Auragin nods at Mohrgan.

Auragin gently pulls a single prayer bead through her fingers.

Aydan says, "Stay together, everyone."

Speaking amusedly to Godefroy, Metadi says, "Nae place tae put it."

Kipa shudders.

Aydan asks, "Everyone joined?"

Metadi nods at Bristenn.

Bristenn nods in agreement at Aydan.

Hoy nods.

Speaking quietly to Metadi, Auragin asks, "In the crack?"

Teveriel nods curtly.

Kateerina rests a gentle hand on Metadi's arm.

Sir Aydan's group just went northeast.
[Schism of Dreams, Road]
A long stretch of road cuts through the banks of blue-green grass, its cobblestone length illuminated by glowing aquamarine dreamstones held aloft by spiraled pillars of silver. Long-limbed trees shade the road, letting through only the barest glimmers of alloyed moonlight and starlight. In the west, the road dissolves amidst a wall of opaque shadow that swirls like a pool of ink.

The dew-slick cobblestones of the road reflect the light of dreamstones adorning some spiraled silver pillars holding multifaceted aquamarine dreamstones to either side of its winding length. [Schism of Dreams, Glade]
Ghostly radiance washes in waves off of a bluish crystalline cocoon at the center of the glade. The world holds its breath; nary a breeze stirs the surrounding wood. Hundreds of thousands of butterflies preside over the stillness of the clearing, clinging to branches and filling the air overhead with jewel-bright colors and the restless murmur of their wings. You also see the Rolfard disk.

(Kateerina looks sadly upon the woman.)

The cocoon is a fragile work of spun crystal, shot through with multitudinous cracks that appear to be recent damage. Inside the cocoon, a young woman stands, her eyes open and swirled with crimson and dancing shadows. The crystal seems thinnest where it shields the world from the force of her furious gaze. Ebon hair surrounds her pale face, her exquisite beauty apparent even though she stands motionless. Two slightly pointed ears protrude from her cascade of luxuriant hair.

Mohrgan gently wraps his hand around his obsidian sword symbol and murmurs a softly spoken prayer.

Bristenn cocks his head and examines the crystalline cocoon.

Speaking to Mynalia, Raelee asks, "Did your master impart any information to you that he did not to me?"

Speaking to Raelee, Mynalia says, "He's told you everything, so far as I know."

Raelee removes a disk of bright blue crystal from in her leather neck pouch.

Godefroy says, "It appears to be of similar material as the cocoon."

Speaking wryly to Mynalia, Raelee says, "He has told me nothing."

Teveriel turns in a slow, precise circle, assessing his surroundings from every direction.

The disk of bright blue crystal and the cocoon begin to pulse with a slow, steady light, like a heart's beat.

Speaking to Auragin, Metadi says, "But, she couldnae hear us when we spoke tae her."

Raelee says, "Let us do this."

(Raelee delicately holds the blue crystal disk over the cocoon, directly over Yaolara's forehead.)

Godefroy says, "Martial types, stand ready. Casters, pray attend the Magister."

The woman writhes in her prison. Something on the other side of her gaze reaches forward, and a man's mad ranting echoes in the back of your mind.

(Raelee carefully places the crystal atop the cocoon, holding it in place with her hand.)

(Raelee seems to be concentrating deeply.)

The cocoon swirls to embrace the crystal, snatching it from Raelee's

(Raelee takes a measured step back from the cocoon.)

Slowly, the walls of the cocoon twitch and swirl tighter, the cracks beginning to fade away.

Lifting first one foot and then another, Misun slowly backpedals.

As the cocoon thickens and brightens around the woman, her eyes suddenly flutter open wider, and the crimson dissolves in a wash of brilliant blue.

Auragin weeps softly, quiet tears falling from her eyes.

Divone gently rests her hand on Auragin's shoulder.

Aydan quietly says, "Don't be comforted by that just yet."

Raelee traces the lines of her black sigil.
Raelee momentarily appears to be surrounded by flames, their vivid coloration setting her all aglow. They soon disappear, with only a few ribbons of flame remaining around her hands.

A single tear falls from the woman's eyes and rolls down the surface of the cocoon's interior wall. She says a single word, but it is muffled and impossible to understand. Then, her eyes flutter again and shut.

You shift your weight.

A faint smile forms on the woman's face, as if she has been seized by a pleasant dream.

You hang your head.

Auragin quietly says, "She is at rest."

Solid threads of spun dreamstone crystal embrace the standing form of a young woman, her eyes shut and a tranquil smile upon her face. Ebon hair spills in luxuriant waves around her delicate features, revealing two slightly pointed ears. The exquisite beauty of her visage is apparent even though she is clearly at rest.

The sound of mad ranting fades off into the distance, until it is just a ringing echo in the back of your mind, something that might have been imagined.

Teveriel slowly empties his lungs.

(Godefroy regards the coccoon thoughtfully, his face unreadable.)

Mohrgan closes

Speaking surreptitiously to Aydan, Bristenn murmurs, "..I'm not yet convinced, somehow."

Raelee quietly mutters, "That will likely do for just long enough for our decendants to forget."

Bristenn raises an eyebrow.

Mohrgan reverently intones, "Blessed are the Dreamers..."

Godefroy agrees with Raelee.

Alisaire casually glances at Raelee.

Ainsley wryly asks, "So three weeks, then?"

A faint and weary sigh echoes through the glade. Several of the butterflies take to flight, spinning through the air on prismatic wings, and a sense of peace washes through you.

Auragin places a hand over her heart.

Godefroy says, "...but at least, there will be a world for them to forget in."

Mynalia lets out a long, contemplative breath.

Kateerina softly says, "She deserves peace."

Speaking softly to Kateerina, Kilthal says, "We can hope that she finds a measure of it."

Kateerina softly says, "But there is a rift here that will not be healed, for a long time."

Metadi harshly says, "And she lies trapped again, betrayed by us as the Dreamwalkers failed her."

Godefroy says, "Many that deserve peace get only war."

Teveriel closes his eyes for a moment.

(Mohrgan places a reverent hand on the argent sword limned into his breastplate, staring with a misty eyed gaze toward the sleeping form.)

Kateerina rests a gentle hand on Metadi's arm.

Speaking softly to Metadi, Kateerina says, "We gave her peace."

Cryheart says, "Peace and war seem to go hand in hand."

Alifair says, "'I"m not so sure about that. She loves him."

Svardin says, "A cocoon is da end of one phase of life and beginnin as another."

Speaking quietly to Metadi, Auragin says, "She is at peace, Met."

Speaking softly to Metadi, Kateerina says, "It is the best she could have without the dreamwalkers."

Svardin says, "Don't discount dat."

Speaking sadly to Kateerina, Metadi says, "She is still trapped. It's nae right."

Biggan says, "Nothing gives a lady peace more than a man."

Godefroy slowly says, "We gave her a measure of peace, perhaps. Maybe that is all one can expect."

Speaking to Metadi, Mynalia says, "I believe she is truly at peace now, free of the torment that once plagued her."

Mohrgan softly says, "At the least, they are together now...I believe she has peace..."

Mohrgan hangs his head.

Aydan says, "And maybe."

Aydan says, "Maybe he's at peace too."

Divone says, "He will try again."

Metadi slowly says, "Mayhap..."

Speaking softly to Metadi, Kateerina says, "She was let down by her own, we have her what we could."

Aydan says, "We kept demonizing him, without stopping to think that maybe it could've been that easy for any of us."

Speaking softly to Aydan, Mohrgan says, "May Ronan grant it to them both."

Aydan says, "He was only a man, once."

Aydan says, "Don't forget that."

Raelee slowly says, "We, as mortals, are very quick to demonize many, many things."

Metadi reminds, "He betrayed his vows."

Bristenn turns around.

Kateerina softly says, "but there is not another rift., one that will not be healed."

Speaking softly to Metadi, Kilthal says, "It is her dreams he is in. If she can find peace, then she may very well make it so peace holds true."

Svardin asks, "Mortals eh?"

Kilthal softly says, "Because he is in her world, her dreams."

You furrow your brow, probably adding a wrinkle or two in the process.

Aydan says, "This time, without Nostus to muck it up, hopefully."

Auragin quietly says, "I wonder what her word was."

Misun says, "We will probably never know."

Godefroy says, "You can take comfort, if you choose, in having granted her at least some peace, for some time."

Ainsley quietly says, "Rest well... Dream well... and thank you."

Mohrgan quietly vows, "Her sacrifice will never be forgotten."

Speaking sadly to Mohrgan, Godefroy says, "Yes, it will."

Kateerina softly says, "I take no comfort in the any of it really for we are also left with something we had not before."

Speaking to Mohrgan, Godefroy says, "It always is."

Speaking to Chamorr, Kipa says, "That is your dream."

Metadi grimly says, "Indeed."

Melorra leans softly against Aydan.

Raelee glances at Mynalia.

Kilthal softly muses, "I wonder..."

Speaking to Godefroy, Mohrgan says, "When the Temple without is restored, it shall be a monument to her."

Mynalia says, "But now, what is done is done. Perhaps tonight we should relish in the fact that the world as we know did not come to an end, and save the esoteric debate for the morrow."

Misun agrees with Mynalia.

Cryheart says, "Amen."

Cryheart nods at Mynalia.

Teveriel nods approvingly at Mynalia.

Aydan says, "I'm of a mind that we leave her to her rest."

Divone agrees with Aydan.

Khristal says, "That's always a good thing."

Speaking to Mohrgan, Metadi asks, "Do ye really want tae be talking about that tae the man who was ready tae murder her?"

Auragin removes some black jet prayer beads from her neck.

Cryheart says, "All Arkati should sing praise tonight."

Aydan asks, "Shall we return to our world?"

Speaking to Mynalia, Godefroy says, "And perhaps, tell your teacher his sacrifice was not in vain."

Speaking to Mynalia, Cyral says, "And the morrow after, and the morrow after, and so on."

Vilkea nods at Aydan.

Speaking to Aydan, Divone says, "Please."

Auragin reaches out and touches a bluish crystalline cocoon.

A pulse of power travels through the area, and with its passage, the glade seems somehow less substantial.

Speaking to Aydan, Melorra says, "We might want to make haste on that."

Aydan says, "This place is fading."

You say, "Looks like we've not much choice."

Kateerina softly says, "We should leave, she rests."

Mohrgan quietly says, "The Dreamscape...it weakens."

Speaking to Aydan, Metadi concedes, "Probably a good idea."

Teveriel curtly says, "Let's go."

Silverthorne rests a hand on a hexagonal obsidian obelisk. His form melts away into a mass of spinning colors that swiftly dissolves into thin air!

Metadi pokes you in the ribs.

Kipa joins Svardin's group.

Shadows drip away from the wall.

Speaking to Mynalia, Raelee says, "Do send my regards to your Master.

Svardin says, "Til another time we are needed."

Rolfard lets out a sigh of relief.

Aydan says, "The shadow has faded."

Mohrgan reaches out and touches a stark black wall.

Mohrgan says, "It is...solid again."

Aydan quietly says, "I want to see the sky."

Divone says, "Stench is still here though."

Bristenn runs a hand through his cropped deep cordovan hair, trying to make himself presentable.

Sir Aydan's group just went through an ornate black gate.
[Eastbridge, Disaster Area]
Paired temples stand to either side of the street. The gate to the east bears the silver clenched fist of Kai, while to the west, a ruined opening leads in to the ransacked grounds of Ronan's Temple. Flanking Eastbridge Lane, the two temples guard the roadway from the temples of Lornon south of the canal. You also see a tall ironwood sign positioned by the ruined opening.

Mohrgan gazes up into the sky.

Divone nods at Mohrgan.

Aydan quietly says, "That's better."

Divone smiles.

Hoy sniffs.

The low flames that creep up Raelee's arm transform to a dark, deep blue hue. As they fade into her skin, the illusion around her abruptly flickers out of sight.

You tap a ruined opening leading to Ronan's Temple.

Auragin sways back and forth.

Bristenn tilts his head up.

Raelee places a hand on her leather casting gauntlet, causing it to pulse for a moment.

Mohrgan gently rests his hand on Auragin's shoulder.

Speaking to Raelee, Mynalia says, "I intend to check in on him shortly, to let him know of what has transpired this night since we parted ways. I will let him know that there is much you would still like to know."

Teveriel gazes up into the sky.

(Bristenn stubbornly shrugs one shoulder, rattling his steel field plate-and-mail's pauldrons.)

Speaking simply to Mynalia, Raelee states, "Thank you."

Speaking to Mynalia, Godefroy says, "We would also like to thank him."

Mohrgan quietly says, "We will go now back to the altar, mayhap we can contact the Lady Chaeye...let her know that...it is done."

You say, "Where is Tseleth's Sanctum since someone mentioned it earlier."

Speaking to Mynalia, Divone says, "His sacrifice was more than most would give."

Meureii glances at you.

Mohrgan says, "Any are welcome to join."

Speaking to you, Godefroy says, "Below, in a place best avoided."

Auragin quietly says, "Peace."

Auragin nods.

Mohrgan glances at a ruined opening leading to Ronan's Temple.

Speaking to Metadi, Godefroy says, "Do you not wonder that war and hatred can only fuel what you seek to oppose? Live for your wife and child, not for an old lich."

Bristenn wearily notes, "..well, this is all fine and good and all, but I do believe I need to sit for a bit."

Speaking carefully to Mynalia, Raelee asks, "You have not received word from Sir Vectrus, have you? Or your Master?"

(Teveriel yanks at his bandolier, hoisting the heavy ebonwood scabbard higher upon his shoulder.)

Mynalia looks over at Raelee and shakes her head.

Aydan says, "Anyone who was here to aid the defense, thank you. Your service in that regard is no longer needed, and you may depart if you wish."

Raelee frowns.

Speaking to Raelee, Mynalia says, "I have not."

Raelee nods at Mynalia.

Speaking to Godefroy, Metadi says, "Ye are nae my priest. Donnae attempt tae dictate tae me how I live."

Bristenn quietly mutters, "It's not every night you get to save Elanthia- only to damn it again somewhere down the road, unfortunately."

Speaking softly to Bristenn, Kilthal says, "I would think ye would be used to it by now."

Misun says, "I will open the manor to those who wish to gather."

Divone grins.

Speaking to Raelee, Mynalia says, "What with having been pursued, we were very much so on the move or in hiding until our return here, however. So it isn't all that surprising that I have not."

Speaking to Mynalia, Raelee says, "Understood."

Speaking to Mynalia, Raelee says, "... I simply had to ask."

Speaking gently to Metadi, Godefroy says, "Merely a suggestion. At least, for the moment."

Speaking raspily to Mohrgan, Rolfard says, "This place should be ... cleaned."

Bristenn formally offers, "Thank you, those who came from foreign soil to assist us."

Mohrgan vows, "It will be."

Speaking to Divone, Melorra says, "Well done, Divone."

Mynalia says, "If you'll excuse me, I should be off to see that Carellus is alright."

Raelee nods slowly at Mynalia.

Mohrgan bows to Mynalia.

Auragin curtsies to Mynalia.

Mynalia says, "But before I go..."

Speaking politely to Mynalia, Bristenn adds, "And, tell Ranheles thanks for me as well- and that he should swing by my boat for a drink some time."

Divone curtsies to Mynalia.

Misun nods at Mynalia.

Speaking to Mynalia, Godefroy says, "Blessings of the Arkati be with you, and him."

Speaking to Mynalia, Metadi says, "Aye, his deeds were o' the highest nobility."

Speaking quietly to Mynalia, Mohrgan says, "My sincerest thanks to you, Lady...and to the Magus. We are forever in both of your debt."

Mynalia says, "We accomplished what we intended to this night, despite....differences among us. You all did well, and I know Carellus would be proud of you all."

A powerful dream seizes at your mind, a whirling, dazzling explosion of color and sound of which it is impossible to make sense. Perhaps, in time, you will be able to recall some of what you have seen.

Mohrgan flinches.

Raelee inhales sharply, hissing through her teeth.

Godefroy slowly empties his lungs.

Rolfard looks about with a puzzled expression on his face.

Metadi closes his eyes for a moment.

Aydan tilts his head down.

Bristenn passes a hand over his fair face.

You gaze up into the heavens.

(Misun nervously pulls at her fingers.)

Speaking to Mynalia, Melorra murmurs, "Are you well to go the distance alone, my lady? I'll escort you if you like."

Ainsley rubs her temples.)

Auragin quietly says, "Almost three years, and what a dream..."

Auragin gazes up into the heavens.

Auragin smiles.

Aydan says, "And like a dream, it simply.. stops."
