A multitude of gold wires are braided into thick plaits, and those plaits woven into a flexible caged latticework. The whole assemblage is affixed to a tapered eahnor hairband. A trio of charms dangles from the red metal -- two are gold teardrops and the third, at the spot where a ferroniere would sit, is an aureate wyvern. Next to the hairpiece is a small plaque.

Sinlycha Vaalor was the wife of Argent Mirror Elmelan Illistim, and mother of Lahrair "The Child Argent", whose military service to the Crimson Legion was replaced with what eventually became the Sabrar. Her family was a prominent manufacturer of Vaaloran weapons, and many have speculated that their marriage was a political alliance of some kind, though supposedly it was a happy one. Her untimely death was apparently the result of assassination, possibly by the precursors of the Council of Thrones or some other faction. She was known to have had three daughters, with possibly only one having survived.

Sinlycha was known to support a close relationship between Vaalor and Illistim. She was once quoted as saying, "Ta'Vaalor is worth defending, but Ta'Illistim is worth fighting for."
