Step 14
The Symbol of Sight, governed by Lord Tonis is obtained at the fourteenth step of the Order of Voln. This symbol, similar in function to the Locate Person (116) spell, can be used to observe a fellow member of the order and view their surroundings for a short duration as if the invoker was physically present with them. In order to be successful, the <target> must be within range (the same realm) and not hidden from view.
Clerics, Empaths and other rescuers will often use this symbol to locate fellow members to aid them during their time of need.
Syntax

Messaging
Activation:

You concentrate on establishing the link and suddenly you see...
Wearing Off:
Your concentration on the image fades.
Target Sees:
You sense <Member's Name> looking in on you.
Favor Cost
Favor cost is based on the member's level. See Order of Voln Symbols table [1] for specific examples. It has a relative cost of 3x Symbol of Protection. In other words, one use of Sym of Sight costs the same favor as three activations of Sym of Prot.
