Symbol of Sleep has a base, targeted, cost of 48 units of [[favor]]. The untargeted version has an escalating cost that increases with additional creatures. Two creatures = 96 units of favor, 3 creatures = 120 units of favor, 4 creatures = 144 units of favor. It is unknown, at this time, if there is a favor cap, or if the cost continues to increase at a rate of 24 units of favor per target.

Step 11

The Symbol of Sleep is obtained at the eleventh step of the Order of Voln. This symbol can be used as either a single target or mass disabling attack against both undead and living creatures. The mass version of this symbol does not affect other player characters in the room. This symbol uses the Standard success resolution system to detemine success or failure.

Syntax

Type:
Symbol of Sleep (by itself for the mass version)
Symbol of Sleep <target> (for the single version)

Messaging

Initial cast:

You draw a glowing pattern in the air before you.

A wraith's eyes roll up into its head as it slumps to the ground.

Wearing off:

The wraith slowly comes back to consciousness.
