Triage Station

Triage Station is the herb shop in Ta'Vaalor. Formally known Saphrie’s Herbs and Tinctures, it has since been renamed and repurposed as Ta'Vaalor's Triage Station. It is located on Aethenireas Wey in a large white limestone building. The front room shop is adminstered by Maraene, who is also responsible for handing out foraging tasks for the Adventurer's Guild. Saphrie, the town healer, can be found in the infirmary through the doorway.

Whitewashed haon shelves line the walls of this room, each shelf carefully stocked with a variety of glaes bottles, bandages, herbs, and other healing supplies. Elven nurses flow around and behind a long monir counter, well-worn and apparently used as a worktable, that rests in the center of the room. An open doorway to the west leads to the infirmary, and a black-inked sign rests upon the far wall. You also see the elven nurse Maraene.

Maraene

Appearance

The young elven woman is dressed in a lavender silk tunic with an intricate acantha leaf design embroidered on the front. Her silvery blonde hair is tied neatly back with an amethyst ribbon, and she glances up with a smile at each new patron entering the shop.

Messaging

"My mistress Saphrie is the finest healer in the City States, 'tis true!"  Maraene explains, nodding emphatically.

A young woman comes in carrying a basket overflowing with freshly picked herbs.  Maraene peers into the basket, nods to the young woman, and pays her silver for the contents.

The herbalist picks up a stack of cloth strips, rolls them into small bundles, and places them in a small basket.

Maraene carefully grinds some calamia fruit into a paste, adds a pinch of red powder, then scoops the thick mixture into a small glass jar.

Maraene carefully labels several tinctures and places them on a low shelf.

Maraene busies herself about the room, seemingly unaware that you are even there.

Maraene stops whistling, cocks her head to one side, and smiles briefly before turning back to her herbs.

After grinding some marallis berries in a small bowl, Maraene strains the mixture through a small sieve into a blown glass bottle.

Saphrie

Appearance

Clad in a pale yellow gown and sturdy brown slippers, Saphrie is the picture of efficiency. Her blonde hair is gathered into a braid and wound about her head like a crown. Her lavender-hued eyes twinkle as she bustles about her work.

Messaging

Saphrie tends to a crippled man in the corner, but she seems unable to help him.

Saphrie calls to her assistant to bring out more tinctures.

Saphrie moves about the room, soothing patients with a gentle smile.
