View From a Stag saddles were first introduced at Rumor Woods in 2021 with the release of deer mounts. While similar to Saddle Me Up saddles, they come only in the form of the kaajkur, which is functionally alike the Finnian horse saddle but exclusive for use on cervid mounts.

The Kaajkur is a lightweight saddle designed for deer and cervid mounts only, and it features a low-rise pommel, normal cantle, loose stirrups, and has a billet and buckle girth-type system for saddling. It will usually include a pad or not use anything underneath it at all. Per GM Kaikala, the closest real world equivalent would be an English riding saddle. While it can be altered, part of the LOOK will always retain reference to the pommel and stirrups. It can support up to three optional customizations via adding objects associated with the set to the kaajkur: a pad item, a blanket item, and a bell item.

LOOK

Crafted in the Finnian style and bedecked with thin bone chips, the kaajkur bears a low-rise pommel and stirrups that hang down at a middling length. Both a pure white lambskin pad and a pearl-trimmed silver silk blanket are neatly slung over the kaajkur's seat.

Analyze

--------- VIEW FROM A STAG SADDLES - ANALYZE INFO ---------
This kaajkur is a View From a Stag saddle meant for use with "cervid" mounts.

Verb Sets active on this kaajkur:
*Verb Set 1: DROP/PUT, GET, MOUNT (with styles), and DISMOUNT (with styles).
*Verb Set 2: ATTEND, NUDGE, PULL, RUB, LEAN.
*Verb Set 3: TILT, RAISE, TOUCH, CLENCH, PUSH

MOUNT styles -- MOUNT {STYLE} {target cervid} -- that are valid for this kaajkur's current setup are: RIGHT; LEFT; POMMEL; MANE; JUMP; GRACE-L; GRACE-R
DISMOUNT styles -- DISMOUNT {STYLE} -- that are valid for this kaajkur's current setup are: POMMEL; MANE, JUMP, SLIDE, GRACE-L, GRACE-R

The kaajkur can have various accessories added to it, if they were made specifically for a kaajkur: a saddle pad, a saddle blanket, and either bells or trim. If you have an accessory, you will need to hold both items and SLAP the saddle to add it; to remove an accessory, PRY for bells/trim, and PINCH or PINCH KAAJKUR WITH {PAD|BLANKET} for pad/blanket. Some accessories change the long description. This kaajkur currently has the following accessories attached:
        *pad item (pure white lambskin)
        *blanket item (silver silk)
        *bell item (thin bone chips)

--------- ALTERATION INFORMATION ---------

The noun cannot change. So what can you do? Any merchant may alter the article, adjective, and/or long description of the kaajkur. They can also add a show description that will append to the hard-coded LOOK. All alterations must be in keeping with the saddle's style (see below). It is also recommended that you avoid show descriptions that rely on the long description being present because accessories can temporarily change the long description.

Note that some aspects of the LOOK are hard-coded (such as the length of the stirrups) and cannot currently be modified by a merchant.

This saddle's style (which is not currently eligible to be changed to another style) is set to kaajkur (Finnian). For alteration purposes, keep the following in mind: Its pommel is low-rise (doesn't really jut up vertically), and the cantle is what you'd expect from a "normal" saddle. The stirrups are loose (no flaps). It utilizes a billet and buckle girth type system for saddling. It will usually include a pad or not use anything underneath at all. It is somewhat light compared to other saddle styles.
-----------------------------------------------------

You get no sense of whether or not the kaajkur may be further lightened.
